(நபியே!) நம் வசனங்களைப் பற்றி வீண் விவாதம் செய்து கொண்டிருப்போரை நீர் கண்டால், அவர்கள் அதைவிட்டு வேறு விஷயங்களில் கவனம் செலுத்தும் வரையில் நீர் அவர்களைப் புறக்கணித்து விடும்; (இக்கட்டளையைவிட்டு) ஷைத்தான் உம்மை மறக்கும்படிச் செய்துவிட்டால், நினைவு வந்ததும், அந்த அநியாயக்கார கூட்டத்தினருடன் நீர் அமர்ந்திருக்க வேண்டாம்.

தவிரவும், அவர்கள் மீது வெளியேறுகையை அல்லாஹ் விதிக்காதிருந்தால், இவ்வுலகிலேயே அவர்களைக் கடினமாக வேதனை செய்திருப்பான், இன்னும் அவர்களுக்கு மறுமையிலும் (நரக) நெருப்பின் வேதனை உண்டு.

certainly he has sent down to you in the book that when you hear allah’s signs being disbelieved and derided, do not sit with them until they engage in some other discourse, or else you [too] will be like them. indeed allah will gather the hypocrites and the faithless in hell all together
(முஃமின்களே!) 'அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்கள் (சிலரால்)நிராகரிக்கப்படுவதையும், பரிகசிக்கப்படுவதையும் நீங்கள் கேட்டால், அவர்கள் இதைவிட்டு வேறு விஷயத்தில் ஈடுபடும் வரையில் அவர்களோடு நீங்கள் உட்கார வேண்டாம்' என்று வேதத்தின் மூலம் அவன் உங்கள் மீது (கட்டளை) இறக்கியுள்ளான். அவ்வாறு உட்கார்ந்தால் நீங்களும் அவர்களைப் போன்றவர்களே. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நயவஞ்சகர்களையும், காஃபிர்களையும் எல்லாம் நரகத்தில் ஒன்றாகச் சேர்த்துவிடுவான்.

and indeed allah has sent down to you in the book that whenever you hear the signs of allah being rejected or being made fun of, do not sit with those people, until they engage in some other conversation; or else you too are like them; undoubtedly allah will gather the hypocrites and the disbelievers, all together, into hell.

'அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்கள் (சிலரால்)நிராகரிக்கப்படுவதையும், பரிகசிக்கப்படுவதையும் நீங்கள் கேட்டால், அவர்கள் இதைவிட்டு வேறு விஷயத்தில் ஈடுபடும் வரையில் அவர்களோடு நீங்கள் உட்கார வேண்டாம்' என்று வேதத்தின் மூலம் அவன் உங்கள் மீது (கட்டளை) இறக்கியுள்ளான். அவ்வாறு உட்கார்ந்தால் நீங்களும் அவர்களைப் போன்றவர்களே. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நயவஞ்சகர்களையும், காஃபிர்களையும் எல்லாம் நரகத்தில் ஒன்றாகச் சேர்த்துவிடுவான்.

allah has enjoined upon you in the-book that when you hear the signs of allah being rejected and scoffed at, you will not sit with them until they engage in some other talk, or else you will become like them. know well, allah will gather the hypocrites and the unbe-lievers in hell - all together.

he hath already revealed unto you in the scripture that, when ye hear the revelations of allah rejected and derided, (ye) sit not with them (who disbelieve and mock) until they engage in some other conversation. lo! in that case (if ye stayed) ye would be like unto them. lo! allah will gather hypocrites and disbelievers, all together, into hell;
