ได้เป็นที่อนุมัติแก่พวกเจ้าแล้ว ซึ่งการสมสู่กับบรรดาภรรยาของพวกเจ้าในค่ำคืนของการถือศีลอด นางทั้งหลายนั้นคือเครื่องนุ่งห่มของพวกเจ้า และพวกเจ้าก็คือเครื่องนุ่งห่มของพวกนาง อัลลอฮ์ทรงรู้ว่า พวกเจ้านั้นเคยทุจริตต่อตัวเอง แล้วพระองค์ก็ทรงยกโทษให้แก่พวกเจ้า และอภัยให้แก่พวกเจ้าแล้ว บัดนี้พวกเจ้าสมสู่กับพวกนางได้ และแสวงหาสิ่งที่อัลลอฮ์ได้ทรงกำหนดให้แก่พวกเจ้าเถิด และจงกิน และดื่ม จนกระทั่งเส้นขาว จะประจักษ์แก่พวกเจ้า จากเส้นดำ เนื่องจากแสงรุ่งอรุณ แล้วพวกเจ้าจงให้การถือศีลอดครบเต็มจนถึงพลบค่ำ และพวกเจ้าจงอย่าสมสู่กับพวกนางขณะที่พวกเจ้าเอียะติก๊าฟ อยู่ในมัสยิด นั่นคือบรรดาขอบเขตของอัลลอฮ์ดังนั้นพวกเจ้าจงอย่าเข้าใกล้ขอบเขตนั้น ในทำนองนั้นแหละอัลลอฮ์จะทรงแจกแจงบรรดาโองการของพระองค์แก่มนุษย์ เพื่อว่าพวกเขาจะได้ยำเกรง
