and i am plotting a plot.
اور میں اپنی تدبیر فرما رہا ہوں،

verily they are plotting a plot.
البتہ کافر داؤ گھات میں ہیں

as for them, they are but plotting a scheme,
البتہ کافر داؤ گھات میں ہیں

the day when their plotting will avail them nothing and no help shall be given them.
جس دن ان کا داؤ ان کے کچھ بھی کام نہ آئے گا اور نہ انہیں مدد دی جائے گی

a day whereon their plotting will avail them not at all, nor will they be succoured.
جس دن ان کا داؤ ان کے کچھ بھی کام نہ آئے گا اور نہ انہیں مدد دی جائے گی

so observe how was the outcome of their plotting, as we destroyed them and all their people.
(اب) دیکھ لے ان کے مکر کا انجام کیسا کچھ ہوا؟ کہ ہم نے ان کو اور ان کی قوم کو سب کو غارت کردیا

so behold thou how was the end of their plotting: verily we annihilated them and their nation all together.
(اب) دیکھ لے ان کے مکر کا انجام کیسا کچھ ہوا؟ کہ ہم نے ان کو اور ان کی قوم کو سب کو غارت کردیا

verily, they are but plotting a plot (against you o muhammad (peace be upon him)).
البتہ کافر داؤ گھات میں ہیں

still they are plotting their plots, but evident are their plots to god, even though they are so adroit as to make the mountains move.
انہوں نے اپنی ساری ہی چالیں چل دیکھیں، مگر اُن کی ہر چال کا توڑ اللہ کے پاس تھا اگرچہ اُن کی چالیں ایسی غضب کی تھیں کہ پہاڑ اُن سے ٹل جائیں

this is of the tidings of the unseen, which we reveal unto thee; nor wast thou with them when they resolved on their affair while they were plotting.
(اے پیغمبر) یہ اخبار غیب میں سے ہیں جو ہم تمہاری طرف بھیجتے ہیں اور جب برادران یوسف نے اپنی بات پر اتفاق کیا تھا اور وہ فریب کر رہے تھے تو تم ان کے پاس تو نہ تھے

and recall what time those who disbelieved were plotting against thee to confine thee or to slay thee or to drive thee forth: they were plotting and allah was plotting, and allah is the best of plotters.
اور (اے محمدﷺ اس وقت کو یاد کرو) جب کافر لوگ تمہارے بارے میں چال چل رہے تھے کہ تم کو قید کر دیں یا جان سے مار ڈالیں یا (وطن سے) نکال دیں تو (ادھر تو) وہ چال چل رہے تھے اور (اُدھر) خدا چال چل رہا تھا۔ اور خدا سب سے بہتر چال چلنے والا ہے

endure with patience; truly, your patience is possible only with the help of god. do not grieve for them, or feel distressed because of their plottings,
اور آپ صبر ہی کریں کہ آپ کا صبر بھی اللہ ہی کی مدد سے ہوگا اور ان کے حال پر رنجیدہ نہ ہوں اور ان کی مکاّریوں کی وجہ سے تنگدلی کا بھی شکار نہ ہوں
