and not a single messenger came to them, but they mocked at him;
اور (لیکن) جو بھی رسول آتا وه اس کا مذاق اڑاتے

ah! alas for (my) servants! there comes not a messenger to them but they mock him!
(ایسے) بندوں پر افسوس! کبھی بھی کوئی رسول ان کے پاس نہیں آیا جس کی ہنسی انہوں نے نہ اڑائی ہو

it is not for the believers to go forth totally; but why should not a party of every section of them go forth, to become learned in religion, and to warn their people when they return to them, that haply they may beware?
اور مسلمانوں سے یہ تو ہو نہیں سکتا کہ سب کے سب نکلیں تو کیوں نہ ہو کہ ان کے ہر گروہ میں سے ایک جماعت نکلے کہ دین کی سمجھ حاصل کریں اور واپس آکر اپنی قوم کو ڈر سنائیں اس امید پر کہ وہ بچیں

the likeness of what they spend in the life of this world is as the likeness of wind in which is intense cold (that) smites the seed produce of a people who have done injustice to their souls and destroys it; and allah is not unjust to them, but they are unjust to themselves.
(یہ لوگ) جو مال (بھی) اس دنیا کی زندگی میں خرچ کرتے ہیں اس کی مثال اس ہوا جیسی ہے جس میں سخت پالا ہو (اور) وہ ایسی قوم کی کھیتی پر جا پڑے جو اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتی ہو اور وہ اسے تباہ کر دے، اور اللہ نے ان پر کوئی ظلم نہیں کیا بلکہ وہ خود اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے ہیں،

and with him are the keys of the ghaib (all that is hidden), none knows them but he. and he knows whatever there is in (or on) the earth and in the sea; not a leaf falls, but he knows it. there is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or dry, but is written in a clear record.
اور اس (اللہ) کے پاس ہیں غیب کی کنجیاں، جنہیں اس کے سوا اور کوئی نہیں جانتا اور وہ اسے بھی جانتا ہے جو خشکی میں ہے۔ اور اسے بھی جانتا ہے جو تری میں ہے اور کوئی پتا نہیں گرتا مگر وہ اسے جانتا ہے۔ اور زمین کی تاریکیوں میں کوئی دانہ نہیں ہے اور نہ کوئی تر ہے اور نہ کوئی خشک ہے مگر یہ کہ وہ کتابِ مبین میں موجود ہے۔
