disclosed is a thickening agent for an alkaline battery which can maintain its discharge properties (discharge quantity and discharge time) satisfactorily for a long period and has excellent impact resistance. also disclosed is an alkaline battery prepared by using the thickening agent. specifically disclosed is a thickening agent for an alkaline battery, which comprises (a) a cross-linked polymer comprising, as essential constituent units, (a1) a water-soluble vinyl monomer and/or (a2) a vinyl monomer that can be hydrolyzed into the component (a1), (b) a hydrolyzable cross-linking agent that can be hydrolyzed under alkaline conditions, and (c) an unhydrolyzable cross-linking agent that cannot be hydrolyzed under alkaline conditions, wherein each of the contents of the components (b) and (c) is 0.05 to 1 wt% relative to the weight of the component (a). the thickening agent meets the following requirements (1) and (2): (1) the ratio of the weight of the component (b) to that of the component (c) (i.e., (b)/(c)) is 1.0 to 5.0; and (2) the viscosity of a specific solution (s1) is 25 to 100 pa·s (at 25°c).
la présente invention concerne un agent épaississant pour une batterie alcaline qui peut conserver ses propriétés de décharge (quantité de décharge et temps de décharge) de façon satisfaisante pendant une longue période et qui présente une excellente résistance aux chocs. elle concerne également une batterie alcaline préparée par l’utilisation de l’agent épaississant. l’invention concerne en particulier un agent épaississant pour une batterie alcaline, l’agent comprenant (a) un polymère réticulé comprenant, comme éléments constitutifs essentiels, (a1) un monomère vinylique hydrosoluble et/ou (a2) un monomère vinylique pouvant être hydrolysé dans le composant (a1), (b) un agent de réticulation hydrolysable qui peut être hydrolysé dans des conditions alcalines, et (c) un agent de réticulation non hydrolysable qui ne peut pas être hydrolysé dans des conditions alcalines, chacune des teneurs en composants (b) et (c) étant de 0,05 à 1 % en poids par rapport au poids du composant (a). l’agent épaississant répond aux exigences (1) et (2) suivantes : (1) le rapport du poids du composant (b) à celui du composant (c) (à savoir, (b)/(c)) est de 1,0 à 5,0 ; et (2) la viscosité d’une solution spécifique (s1) est de 25 à 100 pa·s (à 25 °c).
