their enjoyment of this life is brief, and they shall have a painful punishment.
jin dãɗi ne kaɗan. kuma sunã da wata azãba mai raɗaɗi.

in the everlasting life is a terrible punishment, forgiveness, and great pleasure from allah.
kuma, alãmra akwai azãba mai tsanani da gãfara daga allah da yarda.

indeed, the reward of the everlasting life is better for those who believe and are cautious.
kuma lalle lãdar lãhira ce mafi alhẽri ga waɗandasuka yi ĩmãni, kuma suka kasance mãsu taƙawa.

such was their punishment. but the punishment of the everlasting life is much greater, if they but knew.
haka dai azãbar take, kuma lalle ne azãbar lãhira ta fi girma, in da sun kasance zã su iya gãnẽwã.

in the life hereafter there will be severe torment or forgiveness and mercy from god. the worldly life is only an illusion.
kuma rãyuwar dũniya ba ta zama ba fãce ɗan jin dãɗin rũɗi kawai.

the present life is naught but a sport and a diversion; surely the last abode is better for those that are godfearing.
kuma rãyuwar dũniya ba ta zama ba, fãce wãsa da shagala, kuma lalle ne, lãhira ce mafi alhẽri ga waɗanda suka yi taƙawa.

and by the night when it moves on towards daybreak (reward and retribution in the next life is an absolute reality).
da dare idan yana shũɗewa.

[their share of the present life is] a trifling enjoyment, and there will be a painful punishment for them.
jin dãɗi ne kaɗan. kuma sunã da wata azãba mai raɗaɗi.

my people, this worldly life is only the means (to an end), but the life hereafter will be the everlasting abode.
"kuma ya mutãnẽna! wannan rãyuwa ta dũniya dan jin dãɗi ne kawai, kuma lalle lãhira ita ce gidan tabbata."

and they rejoice in the worldly life, while the worldly life is not, compared to the hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment.
kuma sun yi farin ciki da rãyuwar dũniya, alhalikuwa rãyuwar dũniya ba ta zama ba dangane ga ta lãhira fãce jin dãɗi kaɗan.
