तू ने हम को जाल में फंसाया; और हमारी कटि पर भारी बोझ बान्धा था;

क्योंकि हे प्रभु यहोवा अपने उस वचन के अनुसार, जो तू ने हमारे पुरखाओं को मिस्र से निकालने के समय अपने दास मूसा के द्वारा दिया था, तू ने इन लोगों को अपना निज भाग होने के लिये पृथ्वी की सब जातियों से अलग किया है।

और अगर अहले किताब के सामने दुनिया की सारी दलीले पेश कर दोगे तो भी वह तुम्हारे क़िबले को न मानेंगें और न तुम ही उनके क़िबले को मानने वाले हो और ख़ुद अहले किताब भी एक दूसरे के क़िबले को नहीं मानते और जो इल्म क़ुरान तुम्हारे पास आ चुका है उसके बाद भी अगर तुम उनकी ख्वाहिश पर चले तो अलबत्ता तुम नाफ़रमान हो जाओगे
