וידבר יהוה אל אהרן לאמר׃
and the lord spake unto aaron, saying,

שלח משה עבדו אהרן אשר בחר בו׃
he sent moses his servant; and aaron whom he had chosen.

וידבר יהוה אל משה ואל אהרן לאמר׃
and the lord spake unto moses and unto aaron, saying,

בית אהרן בטחו ביהוה עזרם ומגנם הוא׃
o house of aaron, trust in the lord: he is their help and their shield.

ואת אהרן ואת בניו תמשח וקדשת אתם לכהן לי׃
and thou shalt anoint aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.

ויקרב משה את אהרן ואת בניו וירחץ אתם במים׃
and moses brought aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.

ויצק משמן המשחה על ראש אהרן וימשח אתו לקדשו׃
and he poured of the anointing oil upon aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.

ויעש אהרן ובניו את כל הדברים אשר צוה יהוה ביד משה׃
so aaron and his sons did all things which the lord commanded by the hand of moses.

וכל מנחה בלולה בשמן וחרבה לכל בני אהרן תהיה איש כאחיו׃
and every meat offering, mingled with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of aaron have, one as much as another.

ויקרא אלהם משה וישבו אליו אהרן וכל הנשאים בעדה וידבר משה אלהם׃
and moses called unto them; and aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and moses talked with them.

ולבני אהרן תעשה כתנת ועשית להם אבנטים ומגבעות תעשה להם לכבוד ולתפארת׃
and for aaron's sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.

ולבני אהרן הכהן נתנו את עיר מקלט הרצח את חברון ואת מגרשה ואת לבנה ואת מגרשה׃
thus they gave to the children of aaron the priest hebron with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and libnah with her suburbs,

ולבני אהרן נתנו את ערי המקלט את חברון ואת לבנה ואת מגרשיה ואת יתר ואת אשתמע ואת מגרשיה׃
and to the sons of aaron they gave the cities of judah, namely, hebron, the city of refuge, and libnah with her suburbs, and jattir, and eshtemoa, with their suburbs,
