ליהוה הישועה על עמך ברכתך סלה׃
salvation belongeth unto the lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. selah.

וקחו את כובע הישועה וחרב הרוח שהיא דבר האלהים׃
and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of god:

ויקראו בקול גדול לאמר הישועה לאלהינו הישב על הכסא ולשה׃
and cried with a loud voice, saying, salvation to our god which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the lamb.

and the people said unto saul, shall jonathan die, who hath wrought this great salvation in israel? god forbid: as the lord liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with god this day. so the people rescued jonathan, that he died not.
