ויקרב משה את משפטן לפני יהוה׃
and moses brought their cause before the lord.

ויקרב חג היהודים הוא חג הסכות׃
now the jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand.

ויקרב משה את אהרן ואת בניו וירחץ אתם במים׃
and moses brought aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.

ויקרב אתך ואת כל אחיך בני לוי אתך ובקשתם גם כהנה׃

then cometh he to simon peter: and peter saith unto him, lord, dost thou wash my feet?

ויקרב את איל העלה ויסמכו אהרן ובניו את ידיהם על ראש האיל׃
and he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

ויבא המלך מדמשק וירא המלך את המזבח ויקרב המלך על המזבח ויעל עליו׃
and when the king was come from damascus, the king saw the altar: and the king approached to the altar, and offered thereon.

ובנו הגדול היה בשדה ויהי כאשר בא ויקרב אל הבית וישמע קול זמרה ומחלות׃
now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.

ויקרב את האיל השני איל המלאים ויסמכו אהרן ובניו את ידיהם על ראש האיל׃
and he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

ויקרב אליה ותאמר האשה האתה יואב ויאמר אני ותאמר לו שמע דברי אמתך ויאמר שמע אנכי׃
and when he was come near unto her, the woman said, art thou joab? and he answered, i am he. then she said unto him, hear the words of thine handmaid. and he answered, i do hear.

ויקרב משה את בני אהרן וילבשם כתנת ויחגר אתם אבנט ויחבש להם מגבעות כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃
and moses brought aaron's sons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them; as the lord commanded moses.

ויקרב אליו רב החבל ויאמר לו מה לך נרדם קום קרא אל אלהיך אולי יתעשת האלהים לנו ולא נאבד׃
so the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, what meanest thou, o sleeper? arise, call upon thy god, if so be that god will think upon us, that we perish not.

ויקרב את משפחת יהודה וילכד את משפחת הזרחי ויקרב את משפחת הזרחי לגברים וילכד זבדי׃
and he brought the family of judah; and he took the family of the zarhites: and he brought the family of the zarhites man by man; and zabdi was taken:

וירא תאנה מרחוק ולא עלים ויבא לראות הימצא בה פרי ויקרב אליה ולא מצא בה כי אם עלים לבד כי לא היתה עת תאנים׃
and seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

וירא תאנה אחת על הדרך ויקרב אליה ולא מצא בה מאומה מלבד העלים ויאמר אליה מעתה לא יהיה ממך פרי עד עולם ותיבש התאנה פתאם׃
and when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. and presently the fig tree withered away.

ויקרב את בני אהרן ויתן משה מן הדם על תנוך אזנם הימנית ועל בהן ידם הימנית ועל בהן רגלם הימנית ויזרק משה את הדם על המזבח סביב׃
and he brought aaron's sons, and moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

-64[ ויאמר אליהם למה תישנו קומו והתפללו אשר לא תבאו לידי נסיונ, עודנו מדבר והנה המון ואחד משנים העשר הנקרא יהודה הלך לפניהם ויקרב אל ישוע לנשק לו׃
and said unto them, why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
