תחת רשעים ספקם במקום ראים׃
he striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;

ולא תשעינה עיני ראים ואזני שמעים תקשבנה׃
and the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.

ואנחנו ראים כי לא יכלו לבוא על אשר לא האמינו׃
so we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

ויהי כדברו זאת העלה והם ראים וישאהו ענן מנגד עיניהם׃
and when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

ויאמר אליו ישוע יען ראית אתי האמנת אשרי המאמינים ואינם ראים׃
jesus saith unto him, thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

את אשר אתם ראים הנה ימים באים ולא תשאר אבן על אבן אשר לא תתפרק׃
as for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

ואל תהיו כאבותיכם וכאחיכם אשר מעלו ביהוה אלהי אבותיהם ויתנם לשמה כאשר אתם ראים׃
and be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the lord god of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.

וישמעו קול גדול מן השמים מדבר אליהם לאמר עלו הנה ויעלו בענן השמימה ושנאיהם ראים אתם׃
and they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, come up hither. and they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

ויקח מנוח את גדי העזים ואת המנחה ויעל על הצור ליהוה ומפלא לעשות ומנוח ואשתו ראים׃
so manoah took a kid with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto the lord: and the angel did wondrously; and manoah and his wife looked on.

ואומר אלהם אתם ראים הרעה אשר אנחנו בה אשר ירושלם חרבה ושעריה נצתו באש לכו ונבנה את חומת ירושלם ולא נהיה עוד חרפה׃
then said i unto them, ye see the distress that we are in, how jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.

כי אמן אמר אני לכם נביאים וצדיקים רבים נכספו לראת את אשר אתם ראים ולא ראוהו ולשמע את אשר אתם שמעים ולא שמעוהו׃
for verily i say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

ויען ישוע ויאמר להם לכו והגידו ליוחנן את אשר ראיתם ואשר שמעתם כי עורים ראים ופסחים מתהלכים ומצרעים מטהרים וחרשים שומעים ומתים קמים ועניים מתבשרים׃
then jesus answering said unto them, go your way, and tell john what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
