the day the sky will tremble ,
ሰማይ ብርቱ መዞርን በምትዞርበት ቀን ( ይኾናል ) ፡ ፡

and make the day for livelihood ?
ቀኑንም ( ለኑሮ ) መስሪያ አደረግን ፡ ፡

and the day as time for you to make a living ?
ቀኑንም ( ለኑሮ ) መስሪያ አደረግን ፡ ፡

and the day resplendent
በቀኑም ፤ በተገለጸ ጊዜ ፡ ፡

and the day in splendour
በቀኑም ፤ በተገለጸ ጊዜ ፡ ፡

and belied the day of recompense
« በፍርዱ ቀንም እናስተባብል ነበርን ፡ ፡

and the day as it reveals .
በቀኑም ፤ በተገለጸ ጊዜ ፡ ፡

the day we shall call a witness from every people , the unbelievers will not be allowed to make excuses .
ከየሕዝቡም ሁሉ መስካሪን የምንቀሰቅስበትን ቀን ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ለእነዚያ ለካዱት ( ንግግር ) አይፈቀድላቸውም ፡ ፡ እነሱም በወቀሳ አይታለፉም ፡ ፡

he makes the night pass into the day and makes the day pass into the night , and he knows best what is in the breasts .
ሌሊትን በቀን ውስጥ ያስገባል ፡ ፡ ቀንንም በሌሊት ውስጥ ያስገባል ፡ ፡ እርሱም በልቦች ውስጥ የተደበቁትን ዐዋቂ ነወ ፡ ፡

condemned till the day of doom ! "
« ባንተ ላይም እስከ ፍርዱ ቀን ድረስ እርግማን አለብህ ፡ ፡ »

and ( make mention of ) the day when the enemies of allah are gathered unto the fire , they are driven on
የአላህም ጠላቶች ወደ እሳት የሚሰበሰቡበትን ቀን ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ እነርሱም የሚከመከሙ ኾነው ይነዳሉ ፡ ፡

again , what will make you know what the day of recompense is ?
ከዚያም የፍርዱ ቀን ምን እንደኾነ ምን አሳወቀህ ?

again , what shall make thee know whatsoever the day of requital is ?
ከዚያም የፍርዱ ቀን ምን እንደኾነ ምን አሳወቀህ ?

again : what will make you realize what the day of judgement will be ?
ከዚያም የፍርዱ ቀን ምን እንደኾነ ምን አሳወቀህ ?

( o prophet ) , tell them : " did you consider : if allah were to make the night perpetual over you till the day of judgement , is there a god other than allah who can bring forth light for you ? do you not hear ? "
አያችሁን ( ንገሩኝ ) « አላህ በእናንተ ላይ ሌሊትን እስከ ትንሣኤ ቀን ድረስ ዘውታሪ ቢያደርገው ከአላህ ሌላ ብርሃንን የሚያመጣላችሁ አምላክ ማነው አትሰሙምን » በላቸው ፡ ፡
