ئه‌وانه ته‌نها چاوه‌ڕێی یه‌ك شریخه و ده‌نگێکی زۆر گه‌وره‌ی سامناك نه‌بێت چاوه‌ڕێی هیچی تر ناکه‌ن، که هه‌موویان ده‌پێچێته‌وه (کۆتایی به ژیانیان ده‌هێنێت) له‌کاتێکدا که سه‌رگه‌رمی کاروباری دنیای خۆیانن، سه‌رگه‌رمی کێشه و به‌ربه‌ره‌کانێی ناحه‌قن.
are they awaiting anything other than the last hour that it should suddenly come upon them without their even perceiving it?
ئایا ئه‌وانه جگه‌له هاتنی قیامه‌ت چاوه‌ڕوانی چی تر ده‌که‌ن، له کاتێکدا ئه‌وان هه‌ستی پێناکه‌ن.
and if thou turnest away from them awaiting a mercy from thy lord which thou hopest, then speak unto them a gentle speech.
خۆ ئه‌گه‌ر نه‌تتوانی یارمه‌تی ناوبراوان بده‌یت و به‌ئومێدی ڕه‌حمه‌تی په‌روه‌ردگارو به‌خششی ئه‌و بوویت ئه‌وه ده‌کرێت به گوفتاری جوان و قسه‌ی خۆش ڕازییان بکه‌یت.
and if you [must] turn away from the needy awaiting mercy from your lord which you expect, then speak to them a gentle word.
خۆ ئه‌گه‌ر نه‌تتوانی یارمه‌تی ناوبراوان بده‌یت و به‌ئومێدی ڕه‌حمه‌تی په‌روه‌ردگارو به‌خششی ئه‌و بوویت ئه‌وه ده‌کرێت به گوفتاری جوان و قسه‌ی خۆش ڕازییان بکه‌یت.
and others are awaiting the decree of allah, whether he shall torment them or whether he will relent toward them; and allah is knowing, wise.
که‌سانێکی تریش هه‌ن (له به‌جێ ماوه‌کان) ئه‌نجامی کرده‌وه‌یان دواخراوه بۆ فه‌رمانی خوا، یان سزایان ده‌دات (ئه‌گه‌ر به‌رده‌وام بن له‌سه‌ر دووڕووی) یاخود ته‌وبه‌یان لێ وه‌رده‌گرێت (ئه‌گه‌ر په‌شیمان بن)، خوای گه‌وره‌ش هه‌میشه زاناو دانایه.
are they awaiting the hour of doom to come upon them suddenly? its signs have already come. but of what avail will their admonition be to them when it has actually come upon them?
ئایا ئه‌وانه‌چاوه‌ڕێی چی ده‌که‌ن جگه‌له‌قیامه‌ت که‌له‌ناکاو یه‌خه‌یان پێ بگرێت؟ چونکه‌به‌ڕاستی هه‌ندێک له‌نیشانه‌کانی ده‌رکه‌وتووه (که‌یه‌کێک له‌وانه‌ره‌وانه‌کردنی دواهه‌مین پێغه‌مبه‌ره)، جا ئه‌وکاته‌که‌به‌رپا بێت بیرکردنه‌وه و ئامۆژگارییان چ سوودێکی ده‌بێت؟!
so he went forth therefrom, fearing, awaiting, (and) he said: my lord! deliver me from the unjust people.
موسا له شار ده‌رچوو به‌ترس و بیمه‌وه، هه‌ر سه‌یری ئه‌ملاو ئه‌ولای خۆی ده‌كرد، له‌به‌ر خۆیه‌وه ده‌یوت: په‌روه‌ردگارا له ده‌ست قه‌ومی سته‌مكار ڕزگارم بكه.
among the believers are men who were true to their covenant with god; some of them have fulfilled their vow by death, and some are still awaiting, and they have not changed in the least;
مه‌ردانێکی زۆر هه‌ن له‌ئیمانداران ئه‌و په‌یمانه‌ی داویانه به خوا، ڕاستیان کرد له‌سه‌ری ژیان و پابه‌ند بوون پێوه‌ی و لایان نه‌دا لێی، جا هه‌یانه په‌یمانه‌که‌ی جێبه‌جێ کرد و مرد له‌سه‌ری، هه‌شیانه چاوه‌ڕوانه، به‌هیچ شێوه‌یه‌ك گۆڕان و لاری ڕووی تێ نه‌کردوون.
say: every one (of us) is awaiting, therefore do await: so you will come to know who is the follower of the even path and who goes aright.
(ئه‌ی پێغه‌مبه‌ر(صلی الله علیه وسلم) به دوژمنانی دین) بڵێ: هه‌موولایه‌ک چاوه‌ڕوانن، ده ئێوه‌ش چاوه‌ڕێ بن له ئاینده‌دا ده‌زانن که کێ خاوه‌نی به‌رنامه و ڕێبازی ڕاست و دروسته و کێش ڕێبازی هیدایه‌تی گرتۆته به‌ر.
