have they ears to hear with? say: 'call on your partners and then try to scheme against me.
އެއިން ހިނގާނޭ ފައިތަކެއް އެފަރާތްތަކަށް ވޭހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ އެއިން ބާރުދައްކައި އުޅޭނޭ އަތްތަކެއް އެފަރާތްތަކަށް ވޭހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ އެއިން ދެކޭނޭ ލޯތަކެއް އެފަރާތްތަކަށް ވޭހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ އެއިން އަހާނޭ ކަންފަތްތަކެއް އެފަރާތްތަކަށް ވޭހެއްޔެވެ؟ ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ބައިވެރިންތަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނިކަން ގޮވައިބަލާށެވެ! ދެން ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނާމެދު މަކަރުވެރި ރޭވުން ރާވަމުން ގެންގޮސްބަލާށެވެ! އަދި ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށްޓަކައި ލަސްނުކުރާށެވެ!

those whose eyes were hoodwinked from my reminder, and who could not bear to hear.
އެއުރެންނަކީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ބާވައިލެއްވި قرآن ފިޔަވައި އެއުރެންގެ ލޯތައް ފަރުދާވެގެންވާ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި (އެ قرآن) އަޑުއެހުމަކަށްވެސް އެއުރެންނަކަށް ކުޅަދާނަވެގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

allah maketh whom he will to hear. thou canst not reach those who are in the graves.
އަދި ދިރިތިބި ތަކެއްޗާއި، މަރުވެފައިވާ ތަކެއްޗާ ހަމަހަމަވެގެން ނުވެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް، އިއްވަވައިދެއްވަތެވެ. އަދި ކަށްވަޅުތަކުގައިވާ މީހުންނަށް އިއްވަވާ ބޭކަލަކު ކަމުގައި ކަލޭގެފާނު ނުވެތެވެ.

and be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys."
އަދި ތިބާ ހިނގާ ހިނގުމުގައި މެދުމިނަށް ހިނގާށެވެ! އަދި ތިބާގެ އަޑު މަޑުކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަޑުތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެންމެ ހުތުރުވެގެންވާ އަޑަކީ حمار ގެ އަޑުކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and of them are some who listen unto thee. but canst thou make the deaf to hear even though they apprehend not?
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ތެރޭގައި، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ކަނުލައިއަހާ މީހުންވެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ބީރުބަޔަކަށް، އެއުރެންނަށް ނުވިސްނޭކަމުގައިވިޔަސް، ކަލޭގެފާނު އިއްވަވަނީތޯއެވެ؟

(in the days of old), noah cried to us, and we are the best to hear prayer.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، نوح ގެފާނު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް (އެހީއަށްއެދި) ގޮވައިލެއްވިއެވެ. ފަހެ (އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް) އިޖާބަދެއްވި ރަސްކަލާނގެ މޮޅުކަމާއެވެ!

and some of them give ear to thee; what, wilt thou make the deaf to hear, though they understand not?
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ތެރޭގައި، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ކަނުލައިއަހާ މީހުންވެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ބީރުބަޔަކަށް، އެއުރެންނަށް ނުވިސްނޭކަމުގައިވިޔަސް، ކަލޭގެފާނު އިއްވަވަނީތޯއެވެ؟

(unbelievers) whose eyes had been under a veil from remembrance of me, and who had been unable even to hear.
އެއުރެންނަކީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ބާވައިލެއްވި قرآن ފިޔަވައި އެއުރެންގެ ލޯތައް ފަރުދާވެގެންވާ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި (އެ قرآن) އަޑުއެހުމަކަށްވެސް އެއުރެންނަކަށް ކުޅަދާނަވެގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

(o prophet), you cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call when they turn back in retreat,
ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް މަރުވެފައިވާ މީހުންނަށް އަޑެއް ނީއްވެވޭނެތެވެ. އަދި ބީރު މީހުންނަށް އެއުރެން ފުރަގަސްދީ ދާހިނދު، ކަލޭގެފާނު ގޮވައިލައްވާ އަޑެއް ނީއްވެވޭނެތެވެ.

can you (o muhammad saw) make the deaf to hear, or can you guide the blind or him who is in manifest error?
ފަހެ، ބީރުބަޔަކަށް (حق ގެ) އަޑު ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އިއްވެވިދާނެތޯއެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ ކަނުބަޔަކަށް އަދި ފާޅުވެ بيان ވެގެންވާ އުރެދުމެއްގައިވާ ބަޔަކަށް މަގު ދެއްކެވިދާނެތޯއެވެ؟

and incite [to senselessness] whoever you can among them with your voice and assault them with your horses and foot soldiers and become a partner in their wealth and their children and promise them." but satan does not promise them except delusion.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން، ކަލޭގެޔަށް ކުޅަދާނަވީ ބަޔަކު، ކަލޭގެ އަޑުން ބިރުގަންނަވައި ހެއްލުންތެރިކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ކަލޭގެ ސަވާރުންތަކާއި، ފައިމަގުގައިވާ މީހުންތައް މެދުވެރިކޮށް، އެއުރެންގެމައްޗަށް ބާރުހިންގާށެވެ! އަދި މުދާތަކާއި، ދަރިފަސްކޮޅުތަކުގައި އެއުރެން ބައިވެރިކުރާށެވެ! އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރާށެވެ! ހެއްލުންތެރިކަމެއްމެނުވީ، شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަކަށް وعد އެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

and your lord hath said: pray unto me and i will hear your prayer. lo! those who scorn my service, they will enter hell, disgraced.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ وحى ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް دعاء ކުރާށެވެ! ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ دعاء އިޖާބަކުރައްވާހުށީމެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް (دعاء ކޮށް) އަޅުކަން ކުރުމަށް ކިބުރުވެރިވެގަންނަ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ނިކަންހުރެ ނިކަމެތިވެގެންވާ حال، އެއުރެން ނަރަކަޔަށް ވަންނާނެތެވެ.

and beguile whomsoever of them you can with your voice, and collect against them your forces riding and on foot, and share with them in wealth and children, and hold out promises to them; and the shaitan makes not promises to them but to deceive:
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން، ކަލޭގެޔަށް ކުޅަދާނަވީ ބަޔަކު، ކަލޭގެ އަޑުން ބިރުގަންނަވައި ހެއްލުންތެރިކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ކަލޭގެ ސަވާރުންތަކާއި، ފައިމަގުގައިވާ މީހުންތައް މެދުވެރިކޮށް، އެއުރެންގެމައްޗަށް ބާރުހިންގާށެވެ! އަދި މުދާތަކާއި، ދަރިފަސްކޮޅުތަކުގައި އެއުރެން ބައިވެރިކުރާށެވެ! އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރާށެވެ! ހެއްލުންތެރިކަމެއްމެނުވީ، شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަކަށް وعد އެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

if you invoke them they will not hear your invocation, and even if they heard they cannot respond to you, and on the day of resurrection they will forswear your polytheism, and none can inform you like the one who is all-aware.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެފަރާތްތަކަށް ގޮވިޔަސް، އެފަރާތްތަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ގޮވާ ގޮވުމެއް ނީވޭނެތެވެ. އަދި އެގޮވުން އެފަރާތްތަކަށް އިވުނުކަމަށްވިޔަސް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް އެފަރާތްތަކެއް އިޖާބައެއް ނުދޭނެތެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شريك ކުޅަކަމާމެދު قيامة ދުވަހުން އެފަރާތްތައް إنكار ކުރާނެތެވެ. خبر ތައް މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާކަލާނގެ ފަދައިން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް خبر ދޭނެ ހަމަ އެކަކުވެސް ނެތެވެ.

"and be moderate (or show no insolence) in your walking, and lower your voice. verily, the harshest of all voices is the voice (braying) of the ass."
އަދި ތިބާ ހިނގާ ހިނގުމުގައި މެދުމިނަށް ހިނގާށެވެ! އަދި ތިބާގެ އަޑު މަޑުކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަޑުތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެންމެ ހުތުރުވެގެންވާ އަޑަކީ حمار ގެ އަޑުކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.
