and if it had not been for the favor of allah upon you and his mercy... and because allah is kind and merciful.

நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் வானத்திலிருந்து (மழை) நீரை இறக்குகிறான்; அதனால் பூமி பசுமையாகி விடுகிறது என்பதை நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் கிருபையுடையவன்; நன்கறிந்தவன்.

இப்றாஹீம் (நபி) தம் தந்தைக்காக மன்னிப்புக் கோரியதெல்லாம், அவர் தம் தந்தைக்குச் செய்திருந்த ஒரு வாக்குறுதிக்காகவேயன்றி வேறிலலை மெய்யாகவே, அவர் (தந்தை) அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு விரோதி என்பது தெளிவாகியதும் அதிலிருந்து அவர் விலகிக் கொண்டார் - நிச்சயமாக இப்ராஹீம் பொறுமையுடையவராகவும் இரக்கமுள்ளவராகவும் இருந்தார்.

he created all the kinds and made for you the ships and the cattle such which you ride,
அவன் தான் ஜோடிகள் யாவையும் படைத்தான்; உங்களுக்காக, கப்பல்களையும், நீங்கள் சவாரி செய்யும் கால்நடைகளையும் உண்டாக்கினான் -

allah does not forbid that you be kind and just to those who did not fight against you on account of religion, nor drove you out of your homes. surely allah loves those who are equitable.
மார்க்க (விஷய)த்தில் உங்களிடம் போரிடாமலும், உங்கள் இல்லங்களிலிருந்து உங்களை வெளியேற்றாமலும் இருந்தார்களே அவர்களுக்கு நீங்கள் நன்மை செய்வதையும், அவர்களுக்கு நீங்கள் நீதி செய்வதையும் அல்லாஹ் விலக்க வில்லை - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நீதி செய்பவர்களை நேசிக்கிறான்.

if allah had not shown his grace and mercy to you, (this scandal would have produced very evil results): allah is indeed very kind and merciful.
இன்னும், உங்கள் மீது அல்லாஹ்வின் அருளும், அவனுடைய ரஹ்மத்தும் இல்லாதிருந்தால் (உங்களை வேதனை தீண்டியிருக்கும்.) மேலும், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் இரக்கமுடையவனாகவும், அன்புடையயோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

allah hath made lawful for you (muslims) absolution from your oaths (of such a kind), and allah is your protector. he is the knower, the wise.
அல்லாஹ் உங்களுடைய சத்தியங்களை (சில போது தக்க பரிகாரங்களுடன்) முறித்து விடுவதை உங்களுக்கு ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறான், மேலும் அல்லாஹ் உங்கள் எஜமானன். மேலும், அவன் நன்கறிந்தவன்; ஞானம் மிக்கவன்.

and we ordained for him in the tablets admonition of every kind and clear explanation of all things; so take hold of them with firmness and enjoin your people to take hold of what is best thereof; i will show you the abode of the transgressors.
