நிச்சயமாக முஃமின்கள் (யாவரும்) சகோரர்களே ஆகவே, உங்கள் இரு சகோதரர்களுக்கிடையில் நீங்கள் சமாதானம் உண்டாக்குங்கள்; இன்னும் உங்கள் மீது கிருபை செய்யப்படும் பொருட்டு, நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வை அஞ்சங்கள்.

the believers indeed are brothers; so set things right between your two brothers, and fear god; haply so you will find mercy.
நிச்சயமாக முஃமின்கள் (யாவரும்) சகோரர்களே ஆகவே, உங்கள் இரு சகோதரர்களுக்கிடையில் நீங்கள் சமாதானம் உண்டாக்குங்கள்; இன்னும் உங்கள் மீது கிருபை செய்யப்படும் பொருட்டு, நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வை அஞ்சங்கள்.

o my two fellow-prisoners! are sundry lords better of allah, the one, the subduer
"சிறையிலிருக்கும் என் இரு தோழர்களே! வெள; வேறான பல தெய்வங்கள் இருப்பது நல்லதா? அல்லது (யாவரையும்) அடக்கி ஆளகின்ற ஒருவனான அல்லாஹ்வா?

o [my] two companions of prison, are separate lords better or allah, the one, the prevailing?
"சிறையிலிருக்கும் என் இரு தோழர்களே! வெள; வேறான பல தெய்வங்கள் இருப்பது நல்லதா? அல்லது (யாவரையும்) அடக்கி ஆளகின்ற ஒருவனான அல்லாஹ்வா?

he said: o iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom i created with my two hands? are you proud or are you of the exalted ones?
"இப்லீஸே! நான் என்னுடைய கைகளால் படைத்தவருக்கு ஸுஜூது செய்வதை விட்டும் உன்னைத்தடுத்தது எது? பெருமையடிக்கிறாயா? அல்லது நீ உயர்ந்தவர்களில் (ஒருவனாக) ஆகிவிட்டாயா?" என்று (அல்லாஹ்) கேட்டான்.

"o my two companions of the prison! (i ask you): are many lords differing among themselves better, or the one allah, supreme and irresistible?
"சிறையிலிருக்கும் என் இரு தோழர்களே! வெள; வேறான பல தெய்வங்கள் இருப்பது நல்லதா? அல்லது (யாவரையும்) அடக்கி ஆளகின்ற ஒருவனான அல்லாஹ்வா?
