அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி (மற்றவர்களை) அவள் வணங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்ததுதான் அவளைத் தடுத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தது நிச்சயமாக அவள் காஃபிர்களின் சமூகத்திலுள்ளவளாக இருந்தாள்.

பின்னர் (மர்யம்) அக்குழந்தையைச் சுமந்து கொண்டு தம் சமூகத்தாரிடம் வந்தார்; அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள்; "மர்யமே! நிச்சயமாக நீர் ஒரு விபரீதமான பொருளைக் கொண்டு வந்திருக்கிறீர்!"

then she came to her people, carrying her baby. they said: "o mary! you have committed a monstrous thing.
பின்னர் (மர்யம்) அக்குழந்தையைச் சுமந்து கொண்டு தம் சமூகத்தாரிடம் வந்தார்; அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள்; "மர்யமே! நிச்சயமாக நீர் ஒரு விபரீதமான பொருளைக் கொண்டு வந்திருக்கிறீர்!"

then his wife came up in great grief, and she struck her face and said: an old barren woman!
பின்னர் இதைக்கேட்ட அவருடைய மனைவியார் சப்தமிட்டவராக (அவர்கள்) எதிரில் வந்து, தம் முகத்தில் அடித்துக் கொண்டு "நான் மலட்டுக் கிழவியாயிற்றே!" என்று கூறினார்.

பின்னர் (மர்யம்) அக்குழந்தையைச் சுமந்து கொண்டு தம் சமூகத்தாரிடம் வந்தார்; அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள்; "மர்யமே! நிச்சயமாக நீர் ஒரு விபரீதமான பொருளைக் கொண்டு வந்திருக்கிறீர்!"
