when thy people israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house:
xa bathe abantu bakho, amasirayeli, boyiswa ziintshaba zabo, kuba bekonile, baza babuyela kuwe, balivuma igama lakho, bathandaza batarhuzisa kuwe bekule ndlu:

a voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the lord their god.
