ኢየሱስንም ከሩቅ ባየ ጊዜ ሮጦ ሰገደለት፥
but when he saw jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,

ኢየሱስንም በተንኰል ሊያስይዙት ሊገድሉትም ተማከሩ፤

መንፈስ ቅዱስንም ተሞልቶ ወደ ሰማይ ትኵር ብሎ ሲመለከት የእግዚአብሔርን ክብር ኢየሱስንም በእግዚአብሔር ቀኝ ቆሞ አየና።
but he, being full of the holy ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of god, and jesus standing on the right hand of god,

ጲላጦስም የሕዝቡን ፈቃድ ሊያደርግ ወዶ በርባንን ፈታላቸው፥ ኢየሱስንም ገርፎ እንዲሰቀል አሳልፎ ሰጠ።
and so pilate, willing to content the people, released barabbas unto them, and delivered jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

ኢየሱስንም ይፈልጉት ነበር፤ በመቅደስም ቆመው እርስ በርሳቸው። ምን ይመስላችኋል? ወደ በዓሉ አይመጣም ይሆንን? ተባባሉ።
then sought they for jesus, and spake among themselves, as they stood in the temple, what think ye, that he will not come to the feast?

ኢየሱስንም ባየ ጊዜ ጮኾ በፊቱ ተደፋ በታላቅ ድምፅም። የልዑል እግዚአብሔር ልጅ ኢየሱስ ሆይ፥ ከአንተ ጋር ምን አለኝ? እንዳትሣቀየኝ እለምንሃለሁ አለ።
when he saw jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, what have i to do with thee, jesus, thou son of god most high? i beseech thee, torment me not.

ከከተማዎችም በአንዲቱ ሳለ፥ እነሆ፥ ለምጽ የሞላበት ሰው ነበረ፤ ኢየሱስንም አይቶ በፊቱ ወደቀና። ጌታ ሆይ፥ ብትወድስ፥ ልታነጻኝ ትችላለህ ብሎ ለመነው።
and it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
