በውስጧ ቀጥተኛ የኾኑ ጽሑፎች ያሉባት የኾነችን ፡ ፡

በእምነት በኩል ሁላችሁ በክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ የእግዚአብሔር ልጆች ናችሁና፤

በዳይም ከነበረች ከተማ ያጠፋናትና ከኋላዋም ሌሎችን ሕዝቦች ያስገኘነው ብዙ ናት ፡ ፡

his are all the names beautiful . whatever is in the heavens and the earth sings his praises .
እርሱ አላህ ፈጣሪው ( ከኢምንት ) አስገኚው ፣ ቅርጽን አሳማሪው ነው ፡ ፡ ለእርሱ መልካሞች ስሞች አልሉት ፡ ፡ በሰማያትና በምድርም ያለው ሁሉ ለእርሱ ያሞግሳል ፡ ፡ እርሱም

a defeated host are ( all ) the factions that are there .
እዚያ ዘንድ ከአሕዛብ የሆኑ ተሸናፊ ሰራዊት ናቸው ፡ ፡

and if we listed , surely we should transform them in their places , so that they would be able neither to go forward nor to return
ብንሻም ኖሮ በስፍራቸው ላይ እንዳሉ ወደ ሌላ ፍጥረት በለወጠናቸው ነበር ፡ ፡ መኼድንም መመለስንም ባልቻሉም ነበር ፡ ፡

" nothing crooked or curved wilt thou see in their place . "
« በርሷ ዝቅታና ከፍታን አታይም ፡ ፡ »

those who have earned the garden on that day will be better in their home and happier in their place of noonday rest ;
የገነት ሰዎች በዚያ ቀን በመርጊያ የተሻሉ በማረፊያም በጣም ያማሩ ናቸው ፡ ፡

to bring better people than they in their place ; and they will not be able to thwart us .
ከእነርሱ የተሻለን በመለወጥ ላይ ፡ ፡ እኛም ተሸናፊዎች አይደለንም ፡ ፡

and if we willed , we could have deformed them , [ paralyzing them ] in their places so they would not be able to proceed , nor could they return .
ብንሻም ኖሮ በስፍራቸው ላይ እንዳሉ ወደ ሌላ ፍጥረት በለወጠናቸው ነበር ፡ ፡ መኼድንም መመለስንም ባልቻሉም ነበር ፡ ፡

and establish you in their place . this is for him who fears my station , and dreads my commination . "
« ከእነሱም በኋላ ምድሪቱን በእርግጥ እናስቀምጣችኋለን ፡ ፡ ይኸ በፊቴ መቆሙን ለሚፈራ ዛቻዬንም ለሚፈራ ሰው ነው ፡ ፡ »

and had we wished we would have deformed them in their place ; then they would neither have been able to move ahead nor to return .
ብንሻም ኖሮ በስፍራቸው ላይ እንዳሉ ወደ ሌላ ፍጥረት በለወጠናቸው ነበር ፡ ፡ መኼድንም መመለስንም ባልቻሉም ነበር ፡ ፡

and recall when he made them appear as few in your eyes when you met them in the battle just as he lessened you in their eyes so that allah might accomplish what had been decreed . to allah are all matters referred for decision .
አላህም ሊሠራው የሚገባን ነገር ይፈጽም ዘንድ በተጋጠማችሁ ጊዜ እነርሱን በዓይኖቻችሁ ጥቂት አድርጎ ያሳያችሁንና በዓይኖቻቸውም ላይ ያሳነሳችሁን ( አስታውሱ ) ፡ ፡ ነገሮቹም ሁሉ ወደ አላህ ብቻ ይመለሳሉ ፡ ፡

among them are some who listen to you , but we have placed veils over their hearts and deafness in their ears which prevent them from understanding what you say . even if they saw all the signs , they would still not believe in them .
ከእነርሱም ወደ አንተ የሚያዳምጥ ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ በልቦቻቸውም ላይ እንዳያውቁት ሺፋኖችን በጆሮዎቻቸውም ላይ ድንቁርናን አደረግን ፡ ፡ ተዓምርንም ሁሉ ቢያዩ በርሷ አያምኑም ፡ ፡ በመጡህም ጊዜ የሚከራከሩህ ሲኾኑ እነዚያ የካዱት « ይህ ( ቁርኣን ) የቀድሞዎቹ ሰዎች ጽሑፍ ተረቶች እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

and recall what time he shewed them few in your eyes when ye met and lessened you in their eyes in order that allah might decree an affair already enacted ; and unto allah are all affairs returned .
አላህም ሊሠራው የሚገባን ነገር ይፈጽም ዘንድ በተጋጠማችሁ ጊዜ እነርሱን በዓይኖቻችሁ ጥቂት አድርጎ ያሳያችሁንና በዓይኖቻቸውም ላይ ያሳነሳችሁን ( አስታውሱ ) ፡ ፡ ነገሮቹም ሁሉ ወደ አላህ ብቻ ይመለሳሉ ፡ ፡

and if it had been our will , we could have transformed them ( into animals or lifeless objects ) in their places . then they should have been unable to go forward ( move about ) nor they could have turned back .
ብንሻም ኖሮ በስፍራቸው ላይ እንዳሉ ወደ ሌላ ፍጥረት በለወጠናቸው ነበር ፡ ፡ መኼድንም መመለስንም ባልቻሉም ነበር ፡ ፡

and if it had been our will , we could have transformed them ( to remain ) in their places ; then should they have been unable to move about , nor could they have returned ( after error ) .
ብንሻም ኖሮ በስፍራቸው ላይ እንዳሉ ወደ ሌላ ፍጥረት በለወጠናቸው ነበር ፡ ፡ መኼድንም መመለስንም ባልቻሉም ነበር ፡ ፡

and when he showed them to you , when you met , as few in your eyes and he made you to appear little in their eyes , in order that allah might bring about a matter which was to be done , and to allah are all affairs returned .
አላህም ሊሠራው የሚገባን ነገር ይፈጽም ዘንድ በተጋጠማችሁ ጊዜ እነርሱን በዓይኖቻችሁ ጥቂት አድርጎ ያሳያችሁንና በዓይኖቻቸውም ላይ ያሳነሳችሁን ( አስታውሱ ) ፡ ፡ ነገሮቹም ሁሉ ወደ አላህ ብቻ ይመለሳሉ ፡ ፡

people whom we had made more powerful in the earth than you are and upon them we showered from the heavens abundant rains , and at whose feet we caused the rivers to flow ? and then ( when they behaved ungratefully ) we destroyed them for their sins , and raised other peoples in their place .
ከበፊታቸው ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች ብዙዎችን ማጥፋታችንን አላዩምን ለእናንተ ያላስመቸነውን ( ለእነርሱ ) በምድር ውስጥ አስመቸናቸው ፡ ፡ በእነርሱም ላይ ዝናምን የተከታተለ ሲኾን ላክን ፡ ፡ ወንዞችንም በሥራቸው እንዲፈሱ አደረግን ፡ ፡ በኃጢአቶቻቸውም አጠፋናቸው ፡ ፡ ከኋላቸውም ሌሎችን የክፍለ ዘመን ሰዎች አስገኘን ፡ ፡

behold , they fold their breasts , to hide them from him ; behold , when they wrap themselves in their garments he knows what they secrete and what they publish ; surely he knows all the thoughts within the breasts .
ንቁ ! እነሱ ከእርሱ ( ከአላህ ) ይደበቁ ዘንድ ደረቶቻቸውን ያጥፋሉ ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! ልብሶቻቸውን በሚከናነቡ ጊዜ የሚደብቁትን የሚገልጹትንም ሁሉ ያውቃል ፡ ፡ እርሱ በደረቶች ውስጥ ያለውን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡
