እኛ ሁሉን ነገር በልክ ፈጠርነው ፡ ፡

they believe not in it , though the wont of the ancients is already gone .
በእርሱ አያምኑበትም ፡ ፡ የቀድሞዎቹም ድርጊት በእርግጥ አልፋለች ፤ ( እንደጠፉ ይጠፋሉ ) ፡ ፡

and we have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him , and we are closer to him than [ his ] jugular vein
ሰውንም ነፍሱ ( በሐሳቡ ) የምታጫውተውን የምናውቅ ስንኾን በእርግጥ ፈጠርነው ፤ እኛም ከደም ጋኑ ጅማት ይበልጥ ወደርሱ ቅርብ ነን ፡ ፡

say : ' it may be that part of what you seek to hasten on is already riding behind you '
« የዚያ የምትቻኮሉበት ከፊሉ ለእናንተ የቀረበ መኾኑ ተረጋግጧል » በላቸው ፡ ፡

but what of him against whom the sentence of punishment is justified ? can you rescue one who is already in the fire ?
በእርሱ ላይ የቅጣት ቃል የተረጋገጠችበትን ሰው ( ትመራዋለህን ? ) አንተ በእሳት ውስጥ ያለን ሰው ታድናለህን ?

you even argue about what is already known to you . what can you learn from arguing about that which you have no knowledge ?
ንቁ ! እናንተ እነዚያ ለእናንተ በርሱ ዕውቀት ባላችሁ ነገር የተከራከራችሁ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ ታዲያ ለእናንተ በርሱ ዕውቀት በሌላችሁ ነገር ለምን ትከራከራላችሁ አላህም ያውቃል ፡ ፡ እናንተ ግን አታውቁም ፡ ፡

do not marry women whom your fathers married , except what is already past . that is improper , indecent , and a bad custom .
ከሴቶችም አባቶቻችሁ ያገቡዋቸውን አታግቡ ፡ ፡ ( ትቀጡበታላችሁ ) ፡ ፡ ያለፈው ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እርሱ መጥፎና የተጠላ ሥራ ነውና ፡ ፡ መንገድነቱም ከፋ !

and believe in what i have sent down which verifies what is already with you ; and do not be the first to deny it , nor part with it for little gain ; and beware of me .
ከናንተ ጋር ያለውን ( መጽሐፍ ) የሚያረጋግጥ ሆኖ ባወረድኩትም ( ቁርኣን ) እመኑ ፡ ፡ በርሱም የመጀመሪያ ከሓዲ አትሁኑ ፡ ፡ በአንቀጾቼም ጥቂትን ዋጋ አትለውጡ ፡ ፡ እኔንም ብቻ ተጠንቀቁ ፡

do not marry any of the women whom your fathers had married , excluding what is already past . that is indeed an indecency , an outrage and an evil course .
ከሴቶችም አባቶቻችሁ ያገቡዋቸውን አታግቡ ፡ ፡ ( ትቀጡበታላችሁ ) ፡ ፡ ያለፈው ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እርሱ መጥፎና የተጠላ ሥራ ነውና ፡ ፡ መንገድነቱም ከፋ !

do you not know that god knows all that is in the heavens and the earth ? his decree is already recorded in the book and issuing such a judgment is not difficult for him at all .
አላህ በሰማይና በምድር ውስጥ ያለን ሁሉ በእርግጥ የሚያውቅ መኾኑን አታውቅምን ይህ በመጽሐፍ ውስጥ ( የተመዘገበ ) ነው ፡ ፡ ይህ በአላህ ላይ ገር ነው ፡ ፡

( allah ) said : " o iblis ! what prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom i have created with my hands ?
( አላህም ) « ኢብሊስ ሆይ ! በሁለት እጆቼ ( በኃይሌ ) ለፈጠርኩት ከመስገድ ምን ከለከለህ ? ( አሁን ) ኮራህን ? ወይስ ( ፊቱኑ ) ከትዕቢተኞቹ ነበርክ ? » አለው ፡ ፡

and assuredly we have honoured the children of adam : and we have borne them on the land and the sea , and we have provided them with clean things , and we have preferred them over many of them whom we have created with a preferment .
የአደምንም ልጆች በእርግጥ ( ከሌላው ፍጡር ) አከበርናቸው ፡ ፡ በየብስና በባህርም አሳፈርናቸው ፡ ፡ ከመልካሞችም ( ሲሳዮች ) ሰጠናቸው ፡ ፡ ከፈጠርናቸውም ፍጡሮች በብዙዎቹ ላይ ማብለጥን አበለጥናቸው ፡ ፡

or have they not considered the dominion of the heaven and of the earth , and what things god has created , and that it may be their term is already nigh ? in what manner of discourse then will they after this believe ?
በሰማያትና በምድር ግዛት ውስጥ ከማንኛው ነገር አላህ በፈጠረውም ሁሉ የሞት ጊዜያቸውም በእርግጥ መቅረቡ የሚፈራ መኾኑን አያስተውሉምን ከእርሱም ( ከቁርኣን ) ወዲያ በየትኛው ንግግር ያምናሉ ፡ ፡

he said , “ o satan , what prevented you from prostrating before what i created with my own hands ? are you too proud , or were you one of the exalted ? ”
( አላህም ) « ኢብሊስ ሆይ ! በሁለት እጆቼ ( በኃይሌ ) ለፈጠርኩት ከመስገድ ምን ከለከለህ ? ( አሁን ) ኮራህን ? ወይስ ( ፊቱኑ ) ከትዕቢተኞቹ ነበርክ ? » አለው ፡ ፡

and believe in what i have sent down confirming that which is [ already ] with you , and be not the first to disbelieve in it . and do not exchange my signs for a small price , and fear [ only ] me .
ከናንተ ጋር ያለውን ( መጽሐፍ ) የሚያረጋግጥ ሆኖ ባወረድኩትም ( ቁርኣን ) እመኑ ፡ ፡ በርሱም የመጀመሪያ ከሓዲ አትሁኑ ፡ ፡ በአንቀጾቼም ጥቂትን ዋጋ አትለውጡ ፡ ፡ እኔንም ብቻ ተጠንቀቁ ፡

allah said : o iblis ! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which have created with both my hands ? becomest thou stiff-necked , or art thou of the exalted ones ?
( አላህም ) « ኢብሊስ ሆይ ! በሁለት እጆቼ ( በኃይሌ ) ለፈጠርኩት ከመስገድ ምን ከለከለህ ? ( አሁን ) ኮራህን ? ወይስ ( ፊቱኑ ) ከትዕቢተኞቹ ነበርክ ? » አለው ፡ ፡

[ allah ] said , " o iblees , what prevented you from prostrating to that which i created with my hands ? were you arrogant [ then ] , or were you [ already ] among the haughty ? "
( አላህም ) « ኢብሊስ ሆይ ! በሁለት እጆቼ ( በኃይሌ ) ለፈጠርኩት ከመስገድ ምን ከለከለህ ? ( አሁን ) ኮራህን ? ወይስ ( ፊቱኑ ) ከትዕቢተኞቹ ነበርክ ? » አለው ፡ ፡
