ብንሻም ኖሮ በምድር ላይ ከእናነተ ምትክ መላእክትን ባደረግን ነበር ፡ ፡

and had we willed we could have set among you angels to be viceroys in the earth .
ብንሻም ኖሮ በምድር ላይ ከእናነተ ምትክ መላእክትን ባደረግን ነበር ፡ ፡

and we made known to him this decree that the wrongdoers were to be utterly cut off in the morning .
ወደርሱም ያንን ትእዛዝ አወረድን ፡ ፡ ( እርሱም ) የእነዚህ ( ሕዝቦች ) መጨረሻ ያነጉ ሲኾኑ ( ሥራቸው ) መቆረጥ ነው ፡ ፡

and we decreed unto him this commandment because the last of those was to be cut off in the early morning .
ወደርሱም ያንን ትእዛዝ አወረድን ፡ ፡ ( እርሱም ) የእነዚህ ( ሕዝቦች ) መጨረሻ ያነጉ ሲኾኑ ( ሥራቸው ) መቆረጥ ነው ፡ ፡

the lord of the heavens and the earth and the throne is too glorious to be described in the way they describe him .
የሰማያትና የምድር ጌታ የዙፋኑ ጌታ ከሚሉት ነገር ሁሉ ጠራ ፡ ፡

in houses which allah has allowed to be raised up , and his name to be remembered therein . in the morning and evening
አላህ እንድትከበርና ስሙ በውስጧ እንዲወሳ ባዘዘው ቤቶች ውስጥ ( አወድሱት ) ፡ ፡ በውስጧ በጧትና በማታ ለእርሱ ያጠራሉ ፡ ፡

yet we desired to be gracious to those that were abased in the land , and to make them leaders , and to make them the inheritors ,
በእነዚያም በምድር ውስጥ በተጨቆኑ ላይ ልንለግስ ፣ መሪዎችም ልናደርጋቸው ወራሾችም ልናደርጋቸው እንሻለን ፡ ፡

and if they were to be entered upon from the sides thereof and they were asked to sedition , they would surely have committed it , and they would have tarried therein but slightly .
በእነርሱም ላይ ( ቤቶቻቸው ) ከየቀበሌዋ በተገባባት ከዚያም ከኢስላም መመለስን በተጠየቁ ኖሮ በሠሯት ነበር ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ጥቂትን ጊዜ እንጂ አይቆዩም ነበር ፡ ፡

and we made known this decree to him , that the root of those ( sinners ) was to be cut off in the early morning .
ወደርሱም ያንን ትእዛዝ አወረድን ፡ ፡ ( እርሱም ) የእነዚህ ( ሕዝቦች ) መጨረሻ ያነጉ ሲኾኑ ( ሥራቸው ) መቆረጥ ነው ፡ ፡

did you not see those who have exchanged allah 's favour with ingratitude to him , causing their people to be cast in the abode of utter perdition
ወደእነዚያ የአላህን ጸጋ በክህደት ወደ ለወጡት ሕዝቦቻቸውንም በጥፋት አገር ወዳሰፈሩት ( ወደ ቁረይሾች ) አላየህምን

( this niche ) is in the houses that god has declared to be highly respected and his name be mentioned therein in glory in the morning and evening
አላህ እንድትከበርና ስሙ በውስጧ እንዲወሳ ባዘዘው ቤቶች ውስጥ ( አወድሱት ) ፡ ፡ በውስጧ በጧትና በማታ ለእርሱ ያጠራሉ ፡ ፡

are they waiting for god to appear in the balconies of clouds with a host of angels , and the matter to be settled ? but all things rest with god in the end .
አላህ ( ቅጣቱ ) ና መላእክቱ ከደመና በኾኑ ጥላዎች ውስጥ ሊመጡዋቸው እንጂ አይጠባበቁም ፡ ፡ ነገሩም ተፈጸመ ፤ ነገሮችም ሁሉ ወደ አላህ ይመለሳሉ ፡ ፡

they glory in the grace and the bounty from allah , and in the fact that allah suffereth not the reward of the faithful to be lost ( in the least ) .
ከአላህ በኾነ ጸጋና ልግስና አላህም የምእምናንን ምንዳ የማያጠፉ በመኾኑ ይደሰታሉ ፡ ፡

[ such niches are ] in mosques which allah has ordered to be raised and that his name be mentioned therein ; exalting him within them in the morning and the evenings
አላህ እንድትከበርና ስሙ በውስጧ እንዲወሳ ባዘዘው ቤቶች ውስጥ ( አወድሱት ) ፡ ፡ በውስጧ በጧትና በማታ ለእርሱ ያጠራሉ ፡ ፡

who, being in the form of god, thought it not robbery to be equal with god:
እርሱ በእግዚአብሔር መልክ ሲኖር ሳለ ከእግዚአብሔር ጋር መተካከልን መቀማት እንደሚገባ ነገር አልቈጠረውም፥

as for those who believe and do righteous deeds , certainly ! we shall not suffer to be lost the reward of anyone who does his ( righteous ) deeds in the most perfect manner .
እነዚያ ያመኑና መልካም ሥራዎችንም የሠሩ እኛ ሥራን ያሳመረን ሰው ምንዳ አናጠፋም ፡ ፡
