ወራዳንም ሁሉ አትታዘዝ ፡ ፡

and do not yield to any contemptible swearer ,
ወራዳንም ሁሉ አትታዘዝ ፡ ፡

we will not be subjected to any chastisement . "
« እኛም የምንቅቀጣ አይደለንም » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡

and if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners
ከአዕጀሞች ባንዱ ላይ ባወረድነውም ኖሮ ፤

do not yield to any contemptible swearer of oaths ,
ወራዳንም ሁሉ አትታዘዝ ፡ ፡

had we revealed it to any of the non-arabs ,
ከአዕጀሞች ባንዱ ላይ ባወረድነውም ኖሮ ፤

and the scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth .
ገሀነምም ለሚያይ ሰው በተገለጠች ጊዜ ፣

nor ever listen to any excessive oath maker , ignoble person .
ወራዳንም ሁሉ አትታዘዝ ፡ ፡

he is the knower of the unknown , and he does not divulge his secret to any one
« ( እርሱ ) ሩቁን ምስጢር ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ በምስጢሩም ላይ አንድንም አያሳውቅም ፡ ፡ »

when death comes to any of them , he says , " my lord , send me back
አንዳቸውንም ሞት በመጣበት ጊዜ እንዲህ ይላል « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ( ወደ ምድረ ዓለም ) መልሱኝ ፡ ፡

there , they shall pass from hand to hand a cup which does not lead to any idle talk or sin .
በውስጧ መጠጥን ይሰጣጣሉ ፡ ፡ በውስጧ ውድቅ ንግግርና መውወንጀልም የለም ፡ ፡

god will not forgive those who have rejected the faith and committed injustice , nor will he guide them to any way
እነዚያ የካዱ የበደሉም አላህ የሚምራቸውና ( ቅን ) መንገድን የሚመራቸው አይደለም ፡ ፡

to any path other than the path of hell , wherein they shall abide forever . that is easy enough for god .
ግን በውስጧ ዘለዓለም ዘውታሪዎች ሲኾኑ የገሀነምን መንገድ ( ይመራቸዋል ) ፡ ፡ ይህም በአላህ ላይ ገር ነው ፡ ፡

and allah will never give respite to any soul when its promise arrives ; and allah is aware of your deeds .
ማንኛይቱም ነፍስ የሞት ጊዜዋ በመጣበት ጊዜ አላህ በፍጹም አያቆያትም ፡ ፡ አላህም በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and there are other benefits in them for you and that ye may attain thereby to any need that is in your breasts and upon them and upon ships ye are borne .
ለእናንተም በእርሷ ውስጥ ጥቅሞች አልሏችሁ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ላይ ( እቃን በመጫን ) በልቦቻችሁ ያሰባችሁትን ጉዳይ ትደርሱ ዘንድ ( ፈጠረላችሁ ) ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ላይ በመርከቦችም ላይ ትሳፈራላችሁ ፡ ፡

on that day , no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul . on that day , all affairs will be in the hands of god .
( እርሱ ) ማንኛይቱም ነፍስ ለሌላይቱ ነፍስ ምንም ማድረግን የማትችልበት ቀን ነው ፡ ፡ ነገሩም ሁሉ በዚያ ቀን ለአላህ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

like the day that overtook the people of noah and ad and thamud , and those who came after them . allah does not wish to subject his servants to any injustice .
« የኑሕን ሕዝቦች ፣ የዓድንና የሰሙድንም ፣ የእነዚያንም ከኋላቸው የነበሩትን ልማድ ብጤ ( እፈራላችኋለሁ ) ፡ ፡ አላህም ለባሮቹ መበደልን የሚሻ አይደለም ፡ ፡

and if thou meetest any mortal , say : lo ! i have vowed a fast unto the beneficent , and may not speak this day to any mortal .
« ብይም ፣ ጠጭም ፣ ተደሰችም ፡ ፡ እኔ ለአልረሕማን ዝምታን ተስያለሁ ፤ ዛሬም ሰውን በፍጹም አላነጋግርም » በይ ፡ ፡

and we granted not to any human being immortality before you ( o muhammad saw ) , then if you die , would they live forever ?
( ሙሐመድ ሆይ ! ) ካንተ በፊት ለማንም ሰው ዘለዓለም መኖርን አላደረግንም ፡ ፡ ታዲያ ብትሞት እነሱ ዘውታሪዎች ናቸውን
