« ብሳሳት የምሳሳተው በራሴ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ብመራም ጌታዬ ወደኔ በሚያወርደው ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱ ሰሚ ቅርብ ነውና » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and whatever of misfortune befalls you , it is because of what your hands have earned . and he pardons much .
ከመከራም ማንኛውም ያገኛችሁ ነገር እጆቻችሁ በሠሩት ( ኃጢኣት ) ምክንያት ነው ፡ ፡ ከብዙውም ይቅር ይላል ፡ ፡

say : if i err , i err only against my own soul , and if i follow a right direction , it is because of what my lord reveals to me ; surely he is hearing , nigh .
« ብሳሳት የምሳሳተው በራሴ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ብመራም ጌታዬ ወደኔ በሚያወርደው ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱ ሰሚ ቅርብ ነውና » በላቸው ፡ ፡

say thou : if ever i go astray , i shall stray only against myself , and if i remain guided it is because of that which my lord hath revealed unto me . verily he is hearing , nigh .
« ብሳሳት የምሳሳተው በራሴ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ብመራም ጌታዬ ወደኔ በሚያወርደው ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱ ሰሚ ቅርብ ነውና » በላቸው ፡ ፡

say : " if ( even ) i go astray , i shall stray only to my own loss . but if i remain guided , it is because of the inspiration of my lord to me .
« ብሳሳት የምሳሳተው በራሴ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ብመራም ጌታዬ ወደኔ በሚያወርደው ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱ ሰሚ ቅርብ ነውና » በላቸው ፡ ፡

wherever you are , death will find you even if you hide yourselves in firmly constructed towers . whenever people experience good fortune , they say that it is from god but whenever they experience misfortune , they say it is because of you , ( muhammad ) .
« የትም ስፍራ ብትኾኑ በጠነከሩ ሕንጻዎች ውስጥ ብትኾኑም እንኳ ሞት ያገኛችኋል ፡ ፡ ደግም ነገር ብታገኛቸው ይህች ከአላህ ዘንድ ናት » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ መከራም ብታገኛቸው « ይህቺ ከአንተ ዘንድ ናት » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ « ሁሉም ( ደጉም ክፉውም ) ከአላህ ዘንድ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ለእነዚህም ሰዎች ንግግርን ሊረዱ የማይቀርቡት ምን አላቸው

it is because of their disrespect of a sacred month that you are also allowed to retaliate against them in a sacred month . if any one transgresses against you , you also may retaliate against them to an equal extent .
የተከበረው ወር በተከበረው ወር አንጻር ነው ፡ ፡ ክብሮችም ሁሉ ተመሳሳዮች ናቸው ፡ ፡ በእናንተም ላይ ( በተከበረው ወር ) ወሰን ያለፈባችሁን ሰው በናንተ ላይ ወሰን ባለፈው ብጤ በርሱ ላይ ወሰን እለፉበት ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ አላህ ከሚፈሩት ጋር መኾኑንም ዕወቁ ፡ ፡

say , ‘ if i go astray , my going astray is only to my own harm , and if i am rightly guided that is because of what my lord has revealed to me . indeed he is all-hearing and nearmost . ’
« ብሳሳት የምሳሳተው በራሴ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ብመራም ጌታዬ ወደኔ በሚያወርደው ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱ ሰሚ ቅርብ ነውና » በላቸው ፡ ፡

affirm , " if i am in error , i shall carry the burden thereof ; and if i am rightly guided , it is because of what my lord has revealed to me . truly , he is all-hearing and near at hand . "
« ብሳሳት የምሳሳተው በራሴ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ብመራም ጌታዬ ወደኔ በሚያወርደው ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱ ሰሚ ቅርብ ነውና » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and they inquire of you , “ is it true ? ” say , “ yes , by my lord , it is true , and you cannot evade it . ”
እርሱም « እውነት ነውን » ( ሲሉ ) ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « አዎን ፤ በጌታዬ እምላለሁ ፤ እርሱ እውነት ነው ፡ ፡ እናንተም አምላጮች አይደላችሁም ፤ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

say : " if i am in error it is to my own loss ; if i am on guidance that is so because of what my lord reveals to me . he is all-hearing and all-too-near . "
« ብሳሳት የምሳሳተው በራሴ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ብመራም ጌታዬ ወደኔ በሚያወርደው ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱ ሰሚ ቅርብ ነውና » በላቸው ፡ ፡

or , do they say : ' he has forged it ' say : ' if i have forged it , then you have no power to help me against allah , he knows what you say . it is sufficient that heis the witness between me and you .
ይልቁንም ቀጠፈው ይላሉን ? « ብቀጥፈው ለእኔ ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ለማዳን ) ምንንም አትችሉም ፡ ፡ እርሱ ያንን በእርሱ የምትቀባዥሩበትን ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ በእኔና በእናንተ መካከል መስካሪ በእርሱ በቃ ፡ ፡ እርሱም መሓሪው አዛኙ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡

he will submit , purity “ is to you ! it is not proper for me to say something for which i do not have a right ; if i have said it , then surely you know it ; you know what lies in my heart , and i do not know what is in your knowledge ; indeed you only know all the hidden . ”
አላህም ፡ - « የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ ሆይ ! አንተ ለሰዎቹ ፡ - እኔንና እናቴን ከአላህ ሌላ ሁለት አምላኮች አድርጋችሁ ያዙ ብላሃልን » በሚለው ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ « ጥራት ይገባህ ፤ ለእኔ ተገቢዬ ያልኾነን ነገር ማለት ለኔ አይገባኝም ፡ ፡ ብዬው እንደ ኾነም በእርግጥ ዐውቀኸዋል ፡ ፡ በነፍሴ ውስጥ ያለውን ሁሉ ታውቃለህ ፡ ፡ ግን አንተ ዘንድ ያለውን አላውቅም ፡ ፡ አንተ ሩቆችን ሁሉ በጣም ዐዋቂ አንተ ብቻ ነህና » ይላል ፡ ፡

" i tell you not that with me are the treasures of allah , nor do i know what is hidden , nor claim i to be an angel . nor yet do i say , of those whom your eyes do despise that allah will not grant them ( all ) that is good : allah knoweth best what is in their souls : i should , if i did , indeed be a wrong-doer . "
« ለእናንተም እኔ ዘንድ የአላህ ግምጃ ቤቶች አልሉ ሩቅንም ዐውቃለሁ አልላችሁም ፡ ፡ እኔም መልአክ ነኝ አልላችሁም ፡ ፡ ለእነዚያም ዓይኖቻችሁ ለሚያዋርዷቸው አላህ ደግ ነገርን ( እምነትን ) አይሰጣቸውም አልልም ፡ ፡ አላህ በነፍሶቻቸው ውስጥ ያለውን ነገር አዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔ ያን ጊዜ ከበደለኞች እሆናለሁና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡
