noah said , " lord , do not leave a single disbeliever on earth ;
ኑሕም አለ « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ከከሓዲዎቹ በምድር ላይ አንድንም አትተው ፡ ፡

noah said : " o lord , do not leave a single habitation of unbelievers on the earth .
ኑሕም አለ « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ከከሓዲዎቹ በምድር ላይ አንድንም አትተው ፡ ፡

and noah ( supplicated ) saying : ' my lord , do not leave a single unbeliever upon the earth .
ኑሕም አለ « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ከከሓዲዎቹ በምድር ላይ አንድንም አትተው ፡ ፡

if god were to punish men for their inequity he would not leave a single moving thing on earth . yet he gives them latitude for a time ordained .
አላህም ሰዎችን በበደላቸው በያዛቸው ኖሮ በርሷ ( በምድር ላይ ) ከተንቀሳቃሽ ምንንም ባልተወ ነበር ፡ ፡ ግን እስከ ተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ ያቆያቸዋል ፡ ፡ ጊዜያቸውም በመጣ ወቅት አንዲትን ሰዓት አይቆዩም ፤ አይቀደሙምም ፡ ፡

and on that day we will leave a part of them in conflict with another part , and the trumpet will be blown , so we will gather them all together ;
በዚያም ቀን ከፊላቸውን በከፊሉ የሚቀላቀሉ አድርገን እንተዋቸዋለን ፡ ፡ በቀንዱም ይነፋል መሰብሰብንም እንሰበስባቸዋለን ፡ ፤

if god were to punish the people for what they have earned , he would not leave a single living creature on its surface . but he defers them until a stated time .
አላህም ሰዎችን በሠሩት ኀጢአት ቢይዝ ኖሮ በወለሏ ( በምድር ) ላይ ምንም ተንቀሳቃሽ ባልተወ ነበር ፡ ፡ ግን እተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ ያቆያቸዋል ፡ ፡ ጊዜያቸውም በመጣ ወቅት ( በኀጢአታቸው ይቀጣቸዋል ) ፡ ፡ አላህ በባሮቹ ( ኹኔታ ) ተመልካች ነውና ፡ ፡

if god were to take men to task for their misdeeds , he would not leave a single living creature on the surface of the earth ; but he grants them respite until an appointed time ; and when their appointed time comes , then they will know that god is indeed observant of all his servants .
አላህም ሰዎችን በሠሩት ኀጢአት ቢይዝ ኖሮ በወለሏ ( በምድር ) ላይ ምንም ተንቀሳቃሽ ባልተወ ነበር ፡ ፡ ግን እተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ ያቆያቸዋል ፡ ፡ ጊዜያቸውም በመጣ ወቅት ( በኀጢአታቸው ይቀጣቸዋል ) ፡ ፡ አላህ በባሮቹ ( ኹኔታ ) ተመልካች ነውና ፡ ፡

and for you a half of what your wives leave , if they have no children ; but if they have children , then for you of what they leave a fourth , after any bequest they may bequeath , or any debt . and for them a fourth of what you leave , if you have no children ; but if you have children , then for them of what you leave an eighth , after any bequest you may bequeath , or any debt .
ለእናንተም ሚስቶቻችሁ ከተዉት ንብረት ለእነርሱ ልጅ ባይኖራቸው ግማሹ አላችሁ ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም ልጅ ቢኖራቸው ከተዉት ሀብት ከአራት አንድ አላችሁ ፡ ፡ ( ይህም ) በእርሷ ከሚናዘዙባት ኑዛዜ ወይም ከዕዳ በኋላ ነው ፡ ፡ ለናንተም ልጅ ባይኖራችሁ ከተዋችሁት ንብረት ለእነርሱ ( ለሚስቶች ) ከአራት አንድ አላቸው ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ልጅ ቢኖራችሁ ከተዋችሁት ንብረት ለእነርሱ ከስምንት አንድ አላቸው ( ይህም በርሷ ከምትናዘዙባት ኑዛዜ ወይም ከዕዳ በኋላ ነው ፡ ፡ ) ወላጅም ልጅም የሌለው በጎን ወራሾች የሚወርስ ወንድ ወይም ሴት ቢገኝ ለእርሱም ( ለሟቹ ) ወንድም ወይም እኅት ( ከእናቱ በኩል ብቻ የኾነ ) ቢኖር ከሁለቱ ለያንዳንዳቸው ከስድስት አንድ አላቸው ፡ ፡ ከዚህም ( ከአንድ ) የበዙ ቢኾኑ እነርሱ በሲሶው ተጋሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡ ( ይህም ወራሾችን ) የማይጎዳ ኾኖ በእርሷ ከሚናዘዙባት ኑዛዜ ወይም ከዕዳ በኋላ ነው ፡ ፡ ከአላህም የኾነን ኑዛዜ ( ያዛችኋል ) ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ቻይ ነው ፡ ፡
