so worship your lord and make sacrificial offerings .
ስለዚህ ለጌታህ ስገድ ፤ ( በስሙ ) ሰዋም ፡ ፡

in burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
በሙሉ በሚቃጠል መሥዋዕትና ሰለ ኃጢአት በሚሰዋ መሥዋዕት ደስ አላለህም።

all this , and honouring the offerings to god , comes from purity of heart .
( ነገሩ ) ይህ ነው ፡ ፡ የአላህንም የሃይማኖት ምልክቶች የሚያከብር ሰው እርሷ ከልቦች የኾነች ጥንቃቄ ናት ፡ ፡

god blots out usury , but freewill offerings he augments with interest . god loves not any guilty ingrate .
አላህ አራጣን ( በረከቱን ) ያጠፋል ፡ ፡ ምጽዋቶችንም ያፋፋል ፡ ፡ አላህም ኃጠኢተኛ ከሓዲን ሁሉ አይወድም ፡ ፡

for all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of god: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
እነዚህ ሁሉ ከትርፋቸው ወደ እግዚአብሔር መዝገብ ጥለዋልና፤ ይህች ግን ከጕድለትዋ የነበራትን ትዳርዋን ሁሉ ጣለች አለ።

nothing prevents their offerings from being accepted except that they do not believe in allah and his messenger . they do not come to the prayer except lazily and spend grudgingly .
ልግስናዎቻቸውን ከነሱ ተቀባይ የሚያገኙ ከመኾን እነሱ በአላህና በመልክተኛው የካዱ ፣ ሶላትንም እነሱ ታካቾች ኾነው በስተቀር የማይሰግዱ ፣ እነሱም ጠይዎች ኾነው በስተቀር የማይሰጡ መኾናቸው እንጂ ሌላ አልከለከላቸውም ፡ ፡

that ( is the command ) . and whoso magnifieth the offerings consecrated to allah , it surely is from devotion of the hearts ,
( ነገሩ ) ይህ ነው ፡ ፡ የአላህንም የሃይማኖት ምልክቶች የሚያከብር ሰው እርሷ ከልቦች የኾነች ጥንቃቄ ናት ፡ ፡

and if any man should be in difficulties , let him have respite till things are easier ; but that you should give freewill offerings is better for you , did you but know .
የድኽነት ባለቤት የኾነም ( ባለዕዳ ) ሰው ቢኖር እማግኘት ድረስ ማቆየት ነው ፡ ፡ ( በመማር ) መመጽወታችሁም ለእናንተ በላጭ ነው ፡ ፡ የምታውቁ ብትኾኑ ( ትሠሩታላችሁ ) ፡ ፡

say , " whether you give willingly or unwillingly , your offerings shall not be accepted by god , for you are indeed a disobedient people . "
« ወዳችሁም ኾነ ጠልታችሁ ለግሱ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተ ተቀባይ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ እናንተ አመጸኞች ሕዝቦች ናችሁና » በላቸው ፡ ፡

accept the offerings they make from their wealth in order to cleanse and purify them for progress , and invoke blessings upon them . your blessings will surely bring them peace , for god hears all and knows everything .
ከገንዘቦቻቸው ስትኾን በእርሷ የምታጠራቸውና የምታፋፋቸው የኾነችን ምጽዋት ያዝ ፡ ፡ ለነሱም ጸልይላቸው ፡ ፡ ጸሎትህ ለእነሱ እርጋታ ነውና አላህም ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

do they not know that god is he who accepts repentance from his servants , and takes the freewill offerings , and that god -- he turns , and is all-compassionate ?
አላህ እርሱ ከባሮቹ ንስሓን የሚቀበል ምጽዋቶችንም የሚወስድ መኾኑን አላህም እርሱ ጸጸትን ተቀባይ አዛኝ መኾኑን አያውቁም

and of the wandering arabs there is he who believeth in allah and the last day , and taketh that which he expendeth and also the prayers of the messenger as acceptable offerings in the sight of allah . lo ! verily it is an acceptable offering for them .
ከአዕራቦችም በአላህና በመጨረሻው ቀን የሚያምን የሚሰጣቸውንም ( ምጽዋቶች ) አላህ ዘንድ መቃረቢያዎችና ወደ መልክተኛው ጸሎቶች መዳረሻ አድርጎ የሚይዝ ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! እርሷ ለእነሱ በእርግጥ አቃራቢ ናት ፡ ፡ አላህ በችሮታው ውስጥ ( በገነቱ ) በእርግጥ ያስገባቸዋል ፡ ፡ አላህ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , say to those who say , ' god has commanded us not to believe any messenger unless he offers a burnt offering , ' ( muhammad ) say , " messengers came to you before me with certain miracles and with that which you had asked for ( burnt offering ) . why , then , did you slay them if you were true in your claim ? "
እነዚያ ለማንኛውም መልክተኛ « እሳት የምትበላው የኾነን ቁርባን እስከሚያመጣልን ድረስ ላናምን አላህ ወደኛ አዟል » ያሉ ናቸው ፡ ፡ « መልክተኞች ከእኔ በፊት በተዓምራትና በዚያም ባላችሁት ( ቁርባን ) በእርግጥ መጥተውላችኋል ፡ ፡ እውነተኞች ከኾናችሁ ታዲያ ለምን ገደላችኋቸው » በላቸው ፡ ፡
