በኢብራሂምና በእነዚያ ከእርሱ ጋር በነበሩት ( ምእምናን ) መልካም መከተል አለቻችሁ ፡ ፡ ለሕዝቦቻቸው « እኛ ከእናንተ ከአላህ ሌላ ከምትግገዙትም ንጹሖች ነን ፡ ፡ በእናንተ ካድን ፡ ፡ በአላህ አንድ ብቻ ሲኾን እስከምታምኑ ድረስ በእኛና በእናንተ መካከል ጠብና ጥላቻ ዘወትር ተገለጸ ፡ ፡ » ባሉ ጊዜ ( መልካም መከተል አለቻችሁ ) ፡ ፡ ኢብራሂም ለአባቱ « እኔ ለአንተ ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) ምንም የማልጠቅም ስኾን ለአንተ በእርግጥ ምሕረትን እለምንልኻለሁ » ማለቱ ብቻ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ « ጌታችን ሆይ ! በአንተ ላይ ተመካን ፡ ፡ ወደ አንተም ተመለስን መመለሻም ወደ አንተ ብቻ ነው ፤ » ( ባለው ተከተሉት ) ፡ ፡

they said to their nation : ' we are quit of you , and that which you worship , other than allah . we disbelieve you , enmity and hatred has shown itself between us for ever until you believe in allah alone ' except that abraham said to his father : ' surely , i shall supplicate to ask for forgiveness for you although i have no power to do anything for you with allah ' ' our lord , in you we have put our trust ; to you we turn , and to you is the arrival ,
በኢብራሂምና በእነዚያ ከእርሱ ጋር በነበሩት ( ምእምናን ) መልካም መከተል አለቻችሁ ፡ ፡ ለሕዝቦቻቸው « እኛ ከእናንተ ከአላህ ሌላ ከምትግገዙትም ንጹሖች ነን ፡ ፡ በእናንተ ካድን ፡ ፡ በአላህ አንድ ብቻ ሲኾን እስከምታምኑ ድረስ በእኛና በእናንተ መካከል ጠብና ጥላቻ ዘወትር ተገለጸ ፡ ፡ » ባሉ ጊዜ ( መልካም መከተል አለቻችሁ ) ፡ ፡ ኢብራሂም ለአባቱ « እኔ ለአንተ ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) ምንም የማልጠቅም ስኾን ለአንተ በእርግጥ ምሕረትን እለምንልኻለሁ » ማለቱ ብቻ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ « ጌታችን ሆይ ! በአንተ ላይ ተመካን ፡ ፡ ወደ አንተም ተመለስን መመለሻም ወደ አንተ ብቻ ነው ፤ » ( ባለው ተከተሉት ) ፡ ፡

indeed there has been an excellent example for you in ibrahim ( abraham ) and those with him , when they said to their people : " verily , we are free from you and whatever you worship besides allah , we have rejected you , and there has started between us and you , hostility and hatred for ever , until you believe in allah alone , " except the saying of ibrahim ( abraham ) to his father : " verily , i will ask for forgiveness ( from allah ) for you , but i have no power to do anything for you before allah . " our lord !
