( ሟቹ ) ከባለሟሎቹ ቢኾንማ ፡ ፡

but may he be cursed how he plotted ;
ተረገመም ፤ እንዴት ገመተ !

whether he be from the jinn or humans . ”
« ከጋኔኖችም ከሰዎችም ( ሰይጣናት እጠበቃለሁ በል ) ፡ ፡ »

and if he be a companion of the right :
ከቀኝ ጓዶችም ቢኾንማ ፡ ፡

again , may he be cursed how he plotted ;
ከዚያም ( ከሞት በኋላ ) ተረገመ ፡ ፡ እንዴት ገመተ !

tell me , should he be on [ true ] guidance ,
አየህን ? ንገረኝ ( ተከልካዩ ) በትክክለኛ መንገድ ላይ ቢኾን ፤

burnt soon will he be in a fire of blazing flame !
የመንቀልቀል ባለቤት የኾነችን እሳት በእርግጥ ይገባል ፡ ፡

may the hands of abu lahab perish , may he be ruined .
የአቡ ለሀብ ሁለት እጆች ከሰሩ ( ጠፉ ፤ እርሱ ) ከሰረም ፡ ፡

surely we guided him upon the way whether he be thankful or unthankful .
እኛ ወይ አመስጋኝ ወይም ከሓዲ ሲኾን መንገዱን መራነው ፤ ( ገለጽንለት ) ፡ ፡

and he would not command you that ye should take the angels and the prophets for lords . would he command you to infidelity after ye are become muslims ?
መላእክትንና ነቢያትንም አማልክቶች አድርጋችሁ እንድትይዙ ሊያዛችሁ ( አይገባውም ) ፡ ፡ እናንተ ሙስሊሞች ከኾናችሁ በኋላ በክህደት ያዛችኋልን

a prophet would never order you to take the angels and the prophets as your lords . would he order you to disbelieve after you have submitted yourselves to god ?
መላእክትንና ነቢያትንም አማልክቶች አድርጋችሁ እንድትይዙ ሊያዛችሁ ( አይገባውም ) ፡ ፡ እናንተ ሙስሊሞች ከኾናችሁ በኋላ በክህደት ያዛችኋልን

and the fifth , that the curse of allah be upon him if he be of the liars .
አምስተኛይቱም ከውሸታሞች ቢኾን በእርሱ ላይ የአላህ እርግማን ይኑርበት ( ብሎ መመስከር ) ነው ፡ ፡

and he would not command you to take the angels and the prophets for lords . would he call you to unfaith after you have submitted [ to allah ] ?
መላእክትንና ነቢያትንም አማልክቶች አድርጋችሁ እንድትይዙ ሊያዛችሁ ( አይገባውም ) ፡ ፡ እናንተ ሙስሊሞች ከኾናችሁ በኋላ በክህደት ያዛችኋልን

and he commanded you not that ye should take the angels and the prophets for lords . would he command you to disbelieve after ye had surrendered ( to allah ) ?
መላእክትንና ነቢያትንም አማልክቶች አድርጋችሁ እንድትይዙ ሊያዛችሁ ( አይገባውም ) ፡ ፡ እናንተ ሙስሊሞች ከኾናችሁ በኋላ በክህደት ያዛችኋልን

and if he be of those who treat ( truth ) as falsehood , who go wrong ,
ከሚያስዋሹት ጠማማዎችም ቢኾንማ ፡ ፡

and they say : none entereth paradise unless he be a jew or a christian . these are their own desires .
« ገነትንም አይሁድን ወይም ክርስቲያኖችን የኾነ ሰው እንጂ ሌላ አይገባትም » አሉ ፡ ፡ ይህቺ ( ከንቱ ) ምኞታቸው ናት ፡ ፡ « እውነተኞች እንደኾናችሁ አስረጃችሁን አምጡ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

can your lord send down to us a table from the sky ? ’ said he , ‘ be wary of allah , should you be faithful . ’
ሐዋርያት ፡ - « የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ ሆይ ! ጌታህ በእኛ ላይ ከሰማይ ማእድን ሊያወርድልን ይችላልን » ባሉ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ « ምእመናን እንደ ኾናችሁ አላህን ፍሩ » አላቸው ፡ ፡
