Եկան Երուսաղէմ. եւ Յիսուս տաճար մտնելով՝ սկսեց դուրս հանել տաճարում գտնուող վաճառողներին ու գնորդներին եւ լումայափոխների սեղանները ցրեց ու աղաւնեվաճառների աթոռները շուռ տուեց.

and when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
Եւ չուանից խարազան շինեց ու բոլորին տաճարից դուրս հանեց. նաեւ՝ ոչխարներն ու արջառները. իսկ լումայափոխների պղնձադրամները ցիր ու ցան արեց եւ նրանց սեղանները շուռ տուեց:
