ထိုသူတို့သည် သင်တို့ကို သင်တို့ပြည်မှ အဝေးသို့ ရွှေ့သွားစေခြင်းငှါ၊ သင်တို့ကို ငါနှင်ထုတ်၍ ဆုံးရှုံးစေခြင်း ငှါ၎င်း မုသာစကားကို ဟောပြောတတ်ကြ၏။

for i lift up my hand to heaven, and say, i live for ever.
ငါသည် အစဉ်အမြဲအသက်ရှင်ပေ၏ဟု ငါ့လက် ကို ကောင်းကင်သို့ချီ၍ ကျိန်ဆို၏။

ပေတရုက၊ ကိုယ်တော်နှင့်တကွ သေရသော်လည်း အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကိုမငြင်းမပယ်ပါဟု သာ၍ ခိုင်ခံ့သောစကားနှင့် လျှောက်ပြန်၏။ ထိုသူအပေါင်းတို့သည်လည်း ထိုနည်းတူလျှောက်ကြ၏။

သတေဖန်က၊ ညီအစ်ကို အဘတို့ နားထောင် ကြပါလော့။ ငါတို့ အဘအာဗြဟံသည်၊ ခါရန်မြို့၌မနေမှီ၊ မေသောပေါတာမိအရပ်၌ ရှိစဉ်အခါ၊ ဘုန်းကြီးတော် မူသော ဘုရားသခင်သည် ထင်ရှားတော်မူ၍၊

say i these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also?
လောကီဝေါဟာရအားဖြင့်သာ ဤသို့ ငါဆို သလော။ ပညတ်တရားသည်လည်း ဤသို့ပင်ဆိုသည် မဟုတ်လော။
