ရွာဇနပုဒ်များသောပြည်၊ မြို့ရိုးမရှိ၊ တံခါး ကျင်နှင့်တံခါးမရှိ၊ စိုးရိမ်စရာအကြောင်းအလျှင်းမရှိ၊ ငြိမ်ဝပ်သောပြည်သားတို့ရှိရာသို့ ငါချီသွား၍၊

and the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath i smote thee, but in my favour have i had mercy on thee.
တပါးအမျိုးတို့သည် သင်၏မြို့ရိုးကို တည်ကြ လိမ့်မည်။ ရှင်ဘုရင်တို့သည်လည်း သင့်ကို ပြုစုကြလိမ့် မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါသည် အမျက်ထွက်၍ သင့်ကို ဒဏ်ခတ်သော်လည်း၊ စေတနာစိတ်နှင့် သနားဦးမည်။

also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, come, i pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the lord.
ထိုမှတပါး၊ အချင်းလူသား၊ သင်၏အမျိုးသား ချင်းတို့က၊ ငါတို့သွားကြကုန်အံ့။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အဘယ်သို့ဗျာဒိတ်ပေးတော်မူသည်ကို ကြာကြကုန်အံ့ဟု၊ ထရံနား၊ အိမ်တံခါးနားမှာ သင့်ကိုရည်မှတ်၍ တယောက် ကိုတယောက် ပြောတတ်ကြ၏။

တပည့်တော်တို့သည် ငါ့ကိုတောင်း၌ ထည့်ပြီးလျှင်၊ ပြတင်းပေါက်မှထုတ်၍ မြို့ရိုးပေါ်က လျှော့ချ သဖြင့် ထိုမြို့ဝန်လက်မှ ငါပြေး၍လွတ်ရ၏။
