a method for restoring pictorial works, said method including a prior study of the pictorial work, establishing of the state of conservation of the pictorial work, characterisation of damage, accentuation of parts missing, realisation of a computerised image of the damaged parts of the pictorial work by using graphics aids which include sequenced analysis of the pictorial work based on photographs made in different light and scale techniques and on black and white photographs, digitalisation of the same photographic images, making of damage maps, calibration with the same colour parameters as the original pictorial work and correction of chromatisms level stemming from the photographic development, simulation of chromatic reintegration of said damaged parts in said obtained computerised image by choice of the crosshatching style, pointillism or neutral integration, length of the stroke, size of the brush, numer of brushes, spacing, colour variation, emphasis, merging colours, softening, contrasting, producing the appearance of bases, canvas, gesso or others; said method comprising the steps of (a) cleaning the pictorial work; (b) providing a material constisting of thermal transfer paper on which a layer of synthetic resin is applied; (c) printing of said computerised image of the damaged parts of the pictorial work on said layer of said material by means of a high-resolution laser printer or ink-jet printer according to the type of thermal transfer paper to be used; (d) executing the reintegration of the pictorial work by applying said material on the damaged part of the pictorial work so that the printed layer of said material substitutes the damaged part of the pictorial work; (e) eliminating the thermal transfer paper, if required manual retouching and remounting the pictorial work on a new support, applying grafts and coating and varnishing."
méthode de restauration d'oeuvres de peinture, ladite méthode comprenant une étude préalable de l'oeuvre picturale, en établissant l'état de conservation de l'oeuvre picturale, la caractérisation de la détérioration, la mise en relief de parties manquantes, la réalisation d'une image informatisée des parties endommagées de l'oeuvre picturale moyennant des aides schématisées comprenant une analyse séquentielle de l'oeuvre picturale basée sur des photographies réalisées avec de différentes techniques et échelles, ainsi que sur des photographies en noir et blanc, la numérisation desdites images photographiques, la composition d'une carte de dommages, le calibrage avec les mêmes paramètres de couleur que ceux de l'oeuvre picturale originale et la correction du niveau des chromatismes provenant du développement photographique, la simulation de la restauration chromatique desdites parties endommagées sur ladite image informatisée obtenue, par le choix du style d'ombrage, que ce soit par pointillé ou par intégration neutre, longueur du trait, taille du pinceau, nombre de pinceaux, espacement, variation de couleur, emphase, couleurs fondues, glacis, contraste, production de l'apparition de bases, toiles, plâtre ou autres; ladite méthode comprenant les étapes suivantes : (a) nettoyage de l'oeuvre picturale; (b) fourniture d'un matériau qui consiste en un papier de transfert thermique sur lequel est appliquée une couche de résine synthétique; (c) l'impression de ladite image informatisée des parties endommagées de l'oeuvre picturale sur ladite base dudit matériau au moyen d'une imprimante laser à haute résolution ou d'une imprimante à jet d'encre selon le type de papier à transfert thermique devant être utilisé; (d) l'exécution de la réintégration de l'oeuvre picturale moyennant l'application dudit matériau sur les parties endommagées de sorte que la couche imprimée dudit matériau remplace la partie endommagée de l'oeuvre picturale; (e) l'élimination du papier de transfert thermique, la retouche manuelle si besoin est et le remontage de l'oeuvre picturale sur un nouveau support, en appliquant des greffes, des couches et du vernis.»
