और उसे देख रहे हैं और जब ख़ुदा तुमसे वायदा कर रहा था कि दो जमाअतों में से एक तुम्हारे लिए ज़रूरी हैं और तुम ये चाहते थे कि कमज़ोर जमाअत तुम्हारे हाथ लगे और ख़ुदा ये चाहता था कि अपनी बातों से हक़ को साबित करें और काफिरों की जड़ काट डाले

and when allah promised you one of the two parties that it should be yours , you wished that the one not armed should be yours , but allah willed to justify the truth by his words and to cut off the roots of the disbelievers .
और याद करो जब अल्लाह तुमसे वादा कर रहा था कि दो गिरोहों में से एक तुम्हारे हाथ आएगा और तुम चाहते थे कि तुम्हें वह हाथ आए , जो निःशस्त्र था , हालाँकि अल्लाह चाहता था कि अपने वचनों से सत्य को सत्य कर दिखाए और इनकार करनेवालों की जड़ काट दे

when allah , the one and only , is mentioned , the hearts of those who believe not in the hereafter are filled with disgust and horror ; but when other than he are mentioned , behold , they are filled with joy !

और उसे देख रहे हैं और जब ख़ुदा तुमसे वायदा कर रहा था कि दो जमाअतों में से एक तुम्हारे लिए ज़रूरी हैं और तुम ये चाहते थे कि कमज़ोर जमाअत तुम्हारे हाथ लगे और ख़ुदा ये चाहता था कि अपनी बातों से हक़ को साबित करें और काफिरों की जड़ काट डाले

the dividing line in each instance is whether muslims accept to fit the existing order or aspire to remake it . working within the system is fine , taking it over is not . in american terms , muslims must accept the framework of the constitution , not overturn it .
