तो क्या तुम नहीं समझते तो जो शख़्स ख़ुदा पर झूठ बोहतान बॉधे या उसकी आयतो को झुठलाए उससे बढ़ कर और ज़ालिम कौन होगा इसमें शक़ नहीं कि गुनाहगार कामयाब नहीं हुआ करते

and who doeth greater wrong than he who inventeth a lie against allah when he is summoned unto al - islam ? and allah guideth not wrongdoing folk .
और जो शख़्श इस्लाम की तरफ बुलाया जाए वह कुबूल के बदले उलटा ख़ुदा पर झूठ जोड़े उससे बढ़ कर ज़ालिम और कौन होगा और ख़ुदा ज़ालिम लोगों को मंज़िले मक़सूद तक नहीं पहुँचाया करता

these , our people , have chosen gods beside him though they bring no clear warrant to them . and who doth greater wrong than he who inventeth a lie concerning allah ?
ये हमारी क़ौम के लोग है , जिन्होंने उससे इतर कुछ अन्य पूज्य - प्रभु बना लिए है । आख़िर ये उनके हक़ में कोई स्पष्ट , प्रमाण क्यों नहीं लाते ! भला उससे बढ़कर ज़ालिम कौन होगा जो झूठ घड़कर अल्लाह पर थोपे ?

who can be more wicked than one who inventeth a lie against allah , or saith , " i have received inspiration , " when he hath received none , or who saith , " i can reveal the like of what allah hath revealed " ? if thou couldst but see how the wicked in the flood of confusion at death ! - the angels stretch forth their hands , , " yield up your souls : this day shall ye receive your reward , - a penalty of shame , for that ye used to tell lies against allah , and scornfully to reject of his signs ! "
और उस व्यक्ति से बढ़कर अत्याचारी कौन होगा , जो अल्लाह पर मिथ्यारोपण करे या यह कहे कि " मेरी ओर प्रकाशना की गई है , " हालाँकि उसकी ओर भी प्रकाशना न की गई हो । और वह व्यक्ति से जो यह कहे कि " मैं भी ऐसी चीज़ उतार दूँगा , जैसी अल्लाह ने उतारी है । " और यदि तुम देख सकते , तुम अत्याचारी मृत्यु - यातनाओं में होते है और फ़रिश्ते अपने हाथ बढ़ा रहे होते है कि " निकालो अपने प्राण ! आज तुम्हें अपमानजनक यातना दी जाएगी , क्योंकि तुम अल्लाह के प्रति झूठ बका करते थे और उसकी आयतों के मुक़ाबले में अकड़ते थे । "
