truck no ka01ae4597 (part of controlled fleet non gps) belonging to sss transport carrying 22 t of cement as per official capacity consigned to our warehouse in yelahanka. the said truck was loaded from thondebhavi plant at 01:26 hrs today morning (16-may- 17). the driver, after taking rest, left for delivery. on the t junction on the highway at alipura cross the driver took a right turn and travelled some distance. as reported, this truck tried to avoid a speeding truck coming in from opposite direction and had to go off the road on the left. due to the heavy rain and because of slush the truck slowly toppled at approx 04:00 hrs today. there are no injuries to driver or any third party. the truck is also reported to be in working condition. the driver had attended dmc at around 20:30 hrs on 15-may- 17 before going for loading inside the plant and was also inducted through ddi earlier. the incident is being investigated and details will be shared on completion of the same.
