ފަހެ، ދުނިޔެއާއި، آخرة ގެ ކަންތައް މިލްކުވެ خاص ވެގެންވަނީ اللَّه އަށެވެ.

and to us belong the end and the beginning.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، آخرة އާއި، ދުނިޔޭގެ ހުރިހާކަމެއް މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and verily unto us (belong) the end and the beginning.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، آخرة އާއި، ދުނިޔޭގެ ހުރިހާކަމެއް މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

allah - beginning with the name of - the most gracious, the most merciful.
رحمن ވަންތަ رحيم ވަންތަ اللَّه ގެ اسم ފުޅުން ފަށައިގަންނަމެވެ.

and indeed we bestowed ibrahim with guidance from the beginning, and we were aware of him.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މީގެކުރިން إبراهيم ގެފާނަށް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ހެޔޮ ވިސްނުމާއި، ބުއްދިވެރިކަން ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނާމެދު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ މޮޅަށްދެނެވޮޑިގެންވަމެވެ.

but it is to allah that the end and the beginning (of all things) belong.
ފަހެ، ދުނިޔެއާއި، آخرة ގެ ކަންތައް މިލްކުވެ خاص ވެގެންވަނީ اللَّه އަށެވެ.

(moses) said: "your lord and the lord of your fathers from the beginning!"
އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އިސްވެދިޔަ ކާބަފައިންގެވެސް ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

say your prayers in the morning, the last portion of the day, and at the beginning of the night. good deeds do away with the bad deeds.
އަދި ދުވާލުގެ ދެކޮޅުގައްޔާއި، ރޭގަނޑުން ބައެއްގައި ކަލޭގެފާނު ނަމާދު قائم ކުރައްވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ހެޔޮކަންތައް، ނުބައިކަންތައް ނެތިކޮށްލަތެވެ. އެއީ ހަނދާންކުރާ ބަޔަކަށް وعظ އާއި نصيحة އެކެވެ.

will you not fight a people who broke their oaths and purposed to expel the messenger, beginning the first time against you? are you afraid of them?
އެއުރެންގެ ހުވާތައް އުވާލައި، رسول އާ (ރަށުން) ބޭރުކޮށްލުމަށް ރޭވި ބަޔަކާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނގުރާމަ ނުކުރާންވީ ކީއްވެގެންހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފުރަތަމަ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް حملة ދިނީ އެއުރެންނެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، އެއުރެންދެކެ ބިރުގަންނަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން مؤمن ން ކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބިރުވެތިވުން حق ކަން ބޮޑީ، اللَّه އަށެވެ.

some of the people of the book say: 'believe in that which is sent down to those who believe at the beginning of the day and disbelieve at the end of it, so that they will return.
ފޮތުގެ أهل ވެރިންގެ ތެރެއިން ބަޔަކު (އެއުރެންގެ އަނެއްބަޔަކާ ދިމާޔަށް) ބުންޏެވެ. إيمان ވި މީހުންނަށް ބާވައިލެއްވި އެއްޗަކަށް (އެބަހީ: ކީރިތި قرآن އަށް) ދުވާލުގެ ކުރީކޮޅުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން إيمان ވާށެވެ! ދެން، އެދުވަހުގެ ފަހުކޮޅުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (އެޔަށް) كافر ވާށެވެ! އެއީ، އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: مؤمن ން އެއުރެންގެ دين ން) އެނބުރި رجوع ވޭތޯއެވެ!

beginning to be afraid of them. but they said, "don't be afraid"; and they gave him the good news of a son who would be endowed with knowledge.
ފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ހިތްޕުޅަށް އެއުރެންނާމެދު، ބިރުވެރިކަމެއް ވަދެއްޖެއެވެ. އެ މެހުމާނުން ދެންނެވޫއެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ބިރުފުޅުގެންވަޑައިނުގަންނަވާށެވެ! (ތިމަންމެންނީ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮނުއްވި ملائكة ންނީމުއެވެ.) އަދި އެ މެހުމާނުން އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް علم ވެރި ދަރިކަލަކު ލިބިވަޑައިގަންނަވާނެކަމުގެ އުފާވެރި خبر ދެއްވޫއެވެ.

(differences arose not because people were not given the knowledge of the truth in the beginning, nay), differences arose between those very people who had been given clear teachings, and (for no other reasons than that) they wanted to tyrannize over one another. so allah, by his leave, guided those who believed in the prophets to the truth about which they had differed; aiiah guides whomever he pleases to the right way.
މީސްތަކުން އެއް أمّة އެއްގެ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވިއެވެ. ދެންފަހެ، اللَّه، އުފާވެރިކަމުގެ خبر ދޭ ބަޔެއްގެ ގޮތުގައްޔާއި އަދި إنذار ކުރަނިވި ބަޔެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި ނަބީބޭކަލުން ފޮނުއްވިއެވެ. އަދި މީސްތަކުން އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައި خلاف ވި ކަންތައްތަކުގައި حكم ކުޅައުމަށް، އެބޭކަލުންނާ އެކުގައި حق ގޮތުގައި ފޮތް ބާވައިލެއްވިއެވެ. އެފޮތް ލިބިގެންވާ މީހުން މެނުވީ، އެ ފޮތާ މެދުގައި خلاف އެއް ނުވިއެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް بيان ވެގެންވާ ހެކިތައް އައުމަށްފަހުގައެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައިވާ عداوة ތެރި ކަމާއި حسد ވެރި ކަމުގެ ގޮތުންނެވެ. ދެން އެއުރެން خلاف ވެފައިވާ ކަންތަކާމެދުގައި إيمان ވި މީސްތަކުންނަށް، اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ إذن ފުޅުން حق ތެދުމަގު ދެއްކެވިއެވެ. އަދި اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ ބަޔަކަށް ސީދާވެގެންވާ ތެދުމަގަށް މަގު ދައްކަވަތެވެ.
