so worship your lord and make sacrificial offerings.
ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ނަމާދު ކުރައްވާށެވެ! އަދި قربان ކުރައްވާށެވެ!

all this, and honouring the offerings to god, comes from purity of heart.
(ކަންހުރިމަގީ) އެއީއެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ގެ شعائر ތަކަށް (އެބަހީ: هدى ކަތިލުމާއި، أضحية ކަތިލުމާއި، حج ގެ عمل ތަކާއި، އެނޫންވެސް دينى أمر ތަކަށް) މާތްކޮށްހިތާމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެކަންތައްވަނީ، ހިތްތަކުގެ تقوى ވެރިކަމުގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

god blots out usury, but freewill offerings he augments with interest. god loves not any guilty ingrate.
اللَّه، رِبا އުނިކުރައްވައި، އޭގެ بركات ނެތިިކުރައްވައެވެ. އަދި، صدقات އިތުރު ކުރައްވައެވެ. (އެބަހީ: ދުނިޔޭގައި އޭގެ بركات އިތުރު ކުރައްވައި، آخرة ގައި އޭގެ ދަރުމަ ގިނަގުނަ ކުރައްވައެވެ.) އަދި، ފާފަވެރި، ކޮންމެ كافر އަކު ދެކެ، اللَّه ލޯބިވެ ވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެއެވެ.

then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?...
ފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެންގެ إله ންތަކުގެ ކައިރިޔަށް ޖެހިވަޑައިގެން ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. ކަލޭމެން ނުކަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

nothing prevents their offerings from being accepted except that they do not believe in allah and his messenger. they do not come to the prayer except lazily and spend grudgingly.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން اللَّه އަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް كافر ވިކަމާއި، އެއުރެން ކަންނެތްބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިބެގެން މެނުވީ، ނަމާދަށް ނާންނަކަމާއި، ނުރުހިތިބި ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވާ حال ގައި މެނުވީ، ހޭދަނުކުރާކަމާއި، މިކަންކަން ފިޔަވައި އެއުރެންގެ ހޭދަތައް އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިން قبول ކުރެއްވުން މަނާކުރާކަމެއް ނެތެވެ.

that (is the command). and whoso magnifieth the offerings consecrated to allah, it surely is from devotion of the hearts,
(ކަންހުރިމަގީ) އެއީއެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ގެ شعائر ތަކަށް (އެބަހީ: هدى ކަތިލުމާއި، أضحية ކަތިލުމާއި، حج ގެ عمل ތަކާއި، އެނޫންވެސް دينى أمر ތަކަށް) މާތްކޮށްހިތާމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެކަންތައްވަނީ، ހިތްތަކުގެ تقوى ވެރިކަމުގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

and if any man should be in difficulties, let him have respite till things are easier; but that you should give freewill offerings is better for you, did you but know.
އަދި، (ދަރަނިވެރިޔާއަކީ) އަތްމަތި ދަތި މީހަކު ކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، ފަހެ، (އެމީހާއަށް) ތަނަވަސްކަމެއް ލިބެންދެން (އޭނާއަށް) مهلة ދޭ ހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (އެ ދަރަނީން) صدقات ކުރުން (އެބަހީ: އެ ދަރަނި މާފުކުރުން) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (އެކަން) އެނގޭ ކަމުގައި ވާނަމައެވެ.

say, "whether you give willingly or unwillingly, your offerings shall not be accepted by god, for you are indeed a disobedient people."
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ރުހުމުގައި، ނުވަތަ ނުރުހުމުގައި ހޭދަކުރިޔަސް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކިބަޔަކުން އެކަން قبول އެއް ނުކުރައްވާ ހުށްޓެވެ. އެހެނީ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންވީ، فاسق ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

accept the offerings they make from their wealth in order to cleanse and purify them for progress, and invoke blessings upon them. your blessings will surely bring them peace, for god hears all and knows everything.
އޭގެސަބަބުން ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެން طاهر ކުރައްވާނޭ، އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް ހެޔޮކަން އިތުރުކޮށްދެއްވާނޭ صدقات އެއް، އެއުރެންގެ މުދަލުން ކަލޭގެފާނު ނަންގަވާށެވެ! އަދި އެއުރެންނަށްޓަކައި ކަލޭގެފާނު دعاء ކުރައްވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ دعاء އަކީ، އެއުރެންނަށްއޮތް ހިތްހަމަޖެހުމަކާއި، رحمة އެކެވެ. اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

do they not know that god is he who accepts repentance from his servants, and takes the freewill offerings, and that god -- he turns, and is all-compassionate?
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللًَّه އީ، އެކަލާނގެ އަޅުންގެ ކިބައިން توبة قبول ކުރައްވާ އަދި صدقات قبول ކުރައްވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެކަމާއި، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން توبة ލައްވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެކަން އެއުރެން ނުދަންނަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

and of the wandering arabs there is he who believeth in allah and the last day, and taketh that which he expendeth and also the prayers of the messenger as acceptable offerings in the sight of allah. lo! verily it is an acceptable offering for them.
اللَّه އަށާއި، آخرة ދުވަހަށް إيمان ވެ، އަދި (اللَّه ގެ މަގުގައި) ހޭދަކުރާ ތަކެއްޗަކީ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة އަށް ކުއްތަންވުމުގެ ސަބަބެއް ކަމުގައްޔާއި، رسول އާގެ ހެޔޮدعاء ތައް ލިބުމުގެ ސަބަބެއް ކަމުގައި ބަލާ މީހުންވެސް أعرابى ންގެ ތެރެއިންވެތެވެ. ދަންނާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަންތައްތައް އެއުރެންނަށް ވާހުށީ، ކުއްތަންވުމެއް ކަމުގައެވެ. اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ رحمة ގެ ތެރެއަށް އެއުރެން ވައްދަވާނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

(muhammad), say to those who say, 'god has commanded us not to believe any messenger unless he offers a burnt offering,' (muhammad) say, "messengers came to you before me with certain miracles and with that which you had asked for (burnt offering). why, then, did you slay them if you were true in your claim?"
އެއުރެންނީ، އަލިފާން އެ قربان އެއް ކައިލާ، قربان އަކާއިގެން ތިމަންމެންގެ ގާތަށް ވަޑައިގެންފުމަށްދާނދެން، އެއްވެސް رسول އަކަށް إيمان ނުވުމަށް ހަމަކަށަވަރުން اللَّه ތިމަންމެންނަށް އަންގަވާފައިވެޔޭ ބުނި މީހުންނެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ބަޔާންވެގެންހުރި ހެކިތަކާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިޔަބުނި ކަންތަކާއިގެން، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކުރިން ހަމަކަށަވަރުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް رسول ން ވަޑައިގަތެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ ތެދުބުނާ މީހުންކަމުގައިވާނަމަ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެ رسول ން قتل ކުޅައީ ފަހެ، ކީއްވެގެން ހެއްޔެވެ؟
