(اور اے نبی) وہ وقت یاد کرو۔ جب اللہ نے خواب میں آپ کو ان (کفار) کی تعداد تھوڑی کرکے دکھائی تھی اور اگر وہ انہیں زیادہ کرکے دکھاتا تو تم ہمت ہار جاتے۔ اور آپس میں جھگڑنے لگتے۔ لیکن اللہ نے اس سے بچایا۔ بے شک اللہ سینوں کے اندر والی باتوں کا خوب جاننے والا ہے۔

and remember god’s blessings upon you, and his covenant which he covenanted with you; when you said, “we hear and we obey.” and remain conscious of god, for god knows what the hearts contain.
اللہ نے تم کو جو نعمت عطا کی ہے اس کا خیال رکھو اور اُس پختہ عہد و پیمان کو نہ بھولو جو اُس نے تم سے لیا ہے، یعنی تمہارا یہ قول کہ، "ہم نے سنا اور اطاعت قبول کی" اللہ سے ڈرو، اللہ دلوں کے راز تک جانتا ہے
