Вале ба сабаби аъмоле, ки кардаанд, ҳаргиз орзуи марг нахоҳанд кард.

but they will never long for it, because of that their hands have forwarded; god knows the evildoers.
Ва онон ба сабаби амалҳое, ки пеш аз ин кардаанд, ҳаргиз орзуи марг нахоҳанд кард. Ба Худо ба ситамкорон доност!

Ба музди корҳое, ки кардаед, бихӯреду биёшомед. Гувороятон бод.

То бар он чӣ аз дастатон меравад, андӯҳгин набошед ва ба он чӣ ба дастатон меояд, шодмонӣ накунед.

Ин ба ҷазои корҳое буд, ки пеш аз ин карда будед ва Худо ба бандагонаш ситам кунанда нест,

say: if i err, i err only to my own loss, and if i am rightly guided it is because of that which my lord hath revealed unto me.
Бигӯ: «Агар ман гумроҳ шавам, зиёнаш бар ман аст ва агар ба роҳи ҳидоят равам, ба он сабаб аст, ки Парвардигори ман ба ман ваҳй мекунад.

he hideth himself from the folk because of the evil of that whereof he hath had tidings, (asking himself): shall he keep it in contempt, or bury it beneath the dust.
Аз шарми ин мужда аз мардум пинҳон мешавад. Оё бо хори нигоҳаш дорад ё дар хок ниҳонаш кунад?

and as for the tribe of the thamud we guided them but they preferred blindness to the guidance, wherefore the bolt of the torment of abjection laid hold of them because of that which they had been earning.
Аммо қавми Самуд, ҳидояташон кардем. Ва онҳо куриро аз ҳидоят бештар дӯст медоштанд, то он ки ба хотири амалҳое, ки мекарданд, соъиқаи азоби хоркунанда онҳоро фурӯ гирифт.

and because of their breaking their covenant, we have cursed them and made hard their hearts. they change words from their context and forget a part of that whereof they were admonished.
Ва аҳли китоб, ҷуз андаке аз онҳо, чун паймонашонро шикастанд, лаънаташон кардем ва дилҳояшонро сахт гардонидем.

Аз ин рӯ бар банӣ-Исроил муқаррар доштем, ки ҳар кас каси дигарро на ба қасоси катли касе ё содир кардани фасоде бар рӯи замин бикушад, чунон аст, ки ҳамаи мардумро кушта бошад.

and when we cause mankind to taste of mercy they exult thereat; then if an evil befalleth them because of that which their hands have sent forth, lo! they despair.
Чун ба мардум раҳмате бичашонем, шодмон мешаванд ва чун ба сабаби корҳое, ки кардаанд, ранҷе ба онҳо расад, ногаҳон ноумед мегарданд!

and verily we! when we cause man to taste of mercy from us he exulteth thereat; and if an ill befalleth them because of that which their hands have sent on, then verily man becometh ingrate.
Ва Мо чун ба инсон аз раҳмати Худ бичашонем, шодмон мегардад ва агар ба хотири корҳое, ки кардааст, норавоӣ ба ӯ расад, носипосӣ мекунад.

and lo! when we cause man to taste of mercy from us he exulteth therefor. and if some evil striketh them because of that which their own hands have sent before, then lo! man is an ingrate.
Ва Мо чун ба инсон аз раҳмати Худ бичашонем, шодмон мегардад ва агар ба хотири корҳое, ки кардааст, норавоӣ ба ӯ расад, носипосӣ мекунад.

endure thou patiently (o muhammad). thine endurance is only by (the help of) allah. grieve not for them, and be not in distress because of that which they devise.
Сабр кун, ки сабри ту бе тавфиқи Худо нест ва барояшон ғамгин мабош ва аз макрашон дилтангӣ накун,

because of that we prescribed unto the children of isra'il: whosoever slayeth a person, except for a person, or for corruption in the land, it shall be as through he had slain all mankind, and whosoever bringeth life to one it shall be as though he had brought life to all mankind.
Аз ин рӯ бар банӣ-Исроил муқаррар доштем, ки ҳар кас каси дигарро на ба қасоси катли касе ё содир кардани фасоде бар рӯи замин бикушад, чунон аст, ки ҳамаи мардумро кушта бошад. Ва ҳар кас, ки ба ӯ ҳаёт бахшад, чун касест, ки ҳамаи мардумро ҳаёт бахшида бошад.
