the believer said, "my people, follow me! i will guide you to the right path.
Он марде, ки имон оварда буд, гуфт: «Эй қавми ман, аз паи ман биёед, то ба роҳи савоб ҳидоятатон кунам.

when the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left,
Ҳангоме ки он ду фариштаи фарогиранда дар ҷониби росту ҷониби чапи ӯ нишастаанд, ҳар чизро фаро мегиранд.

when the event will come to pass
Чун қиёмат воқеъ шавад,

and he who believed said: o my people! follow me, i will guide you to the right course;
Он марде, ки имон оварда буд, гуфт: «Эй қавми ман, аз паи ман биёед, то ба роҳи савоб ҳидоятатон кунам.

behold! when the two receivers receive-one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter.
Ҳангоме ки он ду фариштаи фарогиранда дар ҷониби росту ҷониби чапи ӯ нишастаанд, ҳар чизро фаро мегиранд.

then surely i will come upon them from before them and from behind them and from their right and from their left, and thou shalt not find the most of them thankful.
Он гоҳ аз пешу аз пас ва аз чапу рост бар онҳо метозам. Ва бештаринашонро шукргузор нахоҳӣ ёфт».

“then after that will come a year when the people will be given rain and in which they will extract juices.”
Пас аз он соле ояд, ки мардумонро борон диҳанд ва дар он сол афшурданиҳоро мефушуранд».

then i will come at them from their front and from their rear, and from their right and their left, and you will not find most of them to be grateful.’
Он гоҳ аз пешу аз пас ва аз чапу рост бар онҳо метозам. Ва бештаринашонро шукргузор нахоҳӣ ёфт».

and say: "i will not follow your wishes. if i do, i shall be lost and not be one of those who follow the right path."
Бигӯ; «Ба ҳавасҳои шумо пайравӣ намекунам, то мабодо гумроҳ шавам ва аз ҳидоятёфтагон набошам».

so watch for the day when the sky will come down with a pall of smoke,
Пас мунтазири рӯзе бош, ки осмон ба ошкоро дуд биёварад.

surely when the day of the chastisement will come, nothing will avert it and the chastisement which they had ridiculed shall encompass them.
Огоҳ бошед, чун азобашон фаро расад, онро бознагардонанд ва он чӣ масхарааш мекарданд, ононро дар бар хоҳад гирифт.

(they will come across all this) on the day when the earth and the mountains shall tremble violently and the mountains shall crumble into heaps of scattered sand.
рӯзе, ки замину кӯҳҳо ба ларза оянд ва кӯҳҳо теппае аз реги равон гарданд!

and warn the people of a day when the punishment will come upon them, therefore the unjust will say, “o our lord!
Мардумро аз он рӯз, ки азоб фаро мерасад, битарсон.

on that day when the hour will come to pass the wicked shall swear that they had stayed (in the world) no more than an hour.
Рӯзе, ки қиёмат барпо шавад, кофирон савганд хӯранд, ки зиёда аз соаъте дар гӯр наоромидаанд.

“and soon the time will come when you will remember what i now say to you; and i entrust my tasks to allah; indeed allah sees the bondmen.”
Ба зуди он чиро, ки акнун мегӯям, ба ёд хоҳед овард. Ва ман кори худ ба Худо ҳавола кардам, зеро Ӯ бандагонашро мебинад!»

and they esteem not allah as he hath the right to be esteemed, when the whole earth is his handful on the day of resurrection, and the heavens are rolled in his right hand.
Худоро нашинохтанд, ончунон ки лоиқи шинохти Ӯст. Ва дар рӯзи қиёмат замин якҷо дар қабзаи Ӯст ва осмонҳо дар ҳам печида дар яди қудрати Ӯ.

and i do not think the hour will come, and even if i am returned to my lord i will most certainly find a returning place better than this.
Ва он мард ситам бар худаш карда ба боғи худ ҳам маро назди Худо баранд, ҷойгоҳе беҳтар аз ин боғ хоҳам ёфт».
