Ва Худованд ин корро танҳо барои шодмонӣ ва дилгармии шумо кард. Ва нест ёрие, магар аз сӯи Худои пирӯзманду доно,

it is he who has created you from clay to live for a life-time and the span of your life is only known to him.
Ӯст, ки шуморо аз гил биёфарид ва умре муқаррар кард: муддате дар назди Ӯ муайян.

it is only as regards those who fought against you on account of religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and helped to drive you out, that allah forbids you to befriend them.
Фақат Худо аз дӯстӣ кардан бо касоне, ки бо шумо дар дин ҷангидаанд ва аз сарзамини худ берунатон рондаанд ё дар берун ронданатон ҳамдастӣ кардаанд, шуморо манъ мекунад.

the worldly life is but useless amusement and sport (compared to) the life hereafter which is far better and is only for the pious.
Ва зиндагии дунё чизе ҷуз бозичаву лаҳв нест ва парҳезгоронро сарои охират беҳтар аст.

know that the worldly life is only a game, a temporary attraction, a means of boastfulness among yourselves and a place for multiplying your wealth and children. it is like the rain which produces plants that are attractive to the unbelievers.
Бидонед, ки зиндагии инҷаҳонӣ бозича аст ва беҳудагиву ороиш ва фахр кардану афзунҷӯӣ дар молҳову авлод монанди бороне бавақт аст, ки рӯиданиҳояш кофиронро ба шигифт афканад (хурсанд, кунад).

and allah did not make it but as good news for you, and that your hearts might be at ease thereby, and victory is only from allah, the mighty, the wise.
Ва Худованд ин корро танҳо барои шодмонӣ ва дилгармии шумо кард. Ва нест ёрие, магар аз сӯи Худои пирӯзманду доно,

they (the magicians) said, "we would never prefer you to the miracles that we have seen or to our creator. do what you want. this life is only for a short time.
Гуфтанд: «Савганд ба он ки моро офаридааст, ки туро бар он нишонаҳои равшан, ки дидаем, тарҷеҳ намедиҳем (беҳтар намешуморем), ба ҳар чӣ хоҳӣ, ҳукм кун, ки ривоҷи ҳукми ту дар зиндагии инҷаҳонист.

o my people, this worldly life is only [temporary] enjoyment, and indeed, the hereafter - that is the home of [permanent] settlement.
Эй қавми ман, ин зиндагии дунё беарзишу таъайюшест (хушгузарониест). Ва охират сарои бақост (боқӣ).

know that this world's life is only sport and play and gaiety and boasting among yourselves, and a vying in the multiplication of wealth and children, like the rain, whose causing the vegetation to grow, pleases the husbandmen, then it withers away so that you will see it become yellow, then it becomes dried up and broken down; and in the hereafter is a severe chastisement and (also) forgiveness from allah and (his) pleasure; and this world's life is naught but means of deception.
Бидонед, ки зиндагии инҷаҳонӣ бозича аст ва беҳудагиву ороиш ва фахр кардану афзунҷӯӣ дар молҳову авлод монанди бороне бавақт аст, ки рӯиданиҳояш кофиронро ба шигифт афканад (хурсанд, кунад). Сипас пажмурда мешавад ва бинӣ, ки зард гаштааст ва хошок шудааст.
