барои ҳар кас аз шумо, ки бихоҳад ба роҳи рост афтад.

Худо мехоҳад тавбаи шуморо бипазирад. Вале онон, ки аз паи шаҳват мераванд, мехоҳанд, ки шумо ба каҷравии азиме афтед.

for the like of this let all strive, who wish to strive.
Амалкунандагон бояд барои чунин мукофоте амал кунанд.

and free those slaves you possess who wish to buy their freedom after a written undertaking, if you know they have some goodness, and give them out of the riches god has given you.
Ва аз бандагонатон онон, ки хоҳони бозхаридани худанд, агар дар онҳо хайре ёфтед, бозхариданашонро бипазиред. Ва аз он мол, ки Худо ба шумо арзонӣ доштааст, ба онон бидиҳед.

only they who do not believe in it wish to hasten it; but those who believe are in fear of it, for they know it to be true.
Онон, ки бовараш надоранд, (омадани) онро ба шитоб металабанд ва онон, ки имон овардаанд, аз он бимноканд ва медонанд, ки ҳақ аст.

“those who prevent from the path of allah and wish to distort it; and who disbelieve in the hereafter.”
Онон, ки аз роҳи Худо рӯй бармегардонанд ва онро каҷравӣ мепиндоранд ва ба қиёмат имон надоранд!

he said: o musa! surely the chiefs are consulting together to slay you, therefore depart (at once); surely i am of those who wish well to you.
Берун бирав. Ман хайрхоҳи ту ҳастам!»

only those wish to hasten it who believe not in it: those who believe hold it in awe, and know that it is the truth.
Онон, ки бовараш надоранд, (омадани) онро ба шитоб металабанд ва онон, ки имон овардаанд, аз он бимноканд ва медонанд, ки ҳақ аст.

there you will find men who wish to be purified; and god loves those who are pure.
Дар он ҷо мардоне ҳастанд, ки дӯст доранд покиза бошанд, зеро Худо покизагонро дӯст дорад.

they said: these are most surely two magicians who wish to turn you out from your land by their magic and to take away your best traditions.
Гуфтанд: «Ин ду ҷодугароне ҳастанд, ки мехоҳанд ба ҷодуи худ шуморо аз сарзаминатон биронанд ва дини беҳтарини шуморо маҳв кунанд.

indeed those who wish that slander should spread among the muslims – for them is a painful punishment in this world and in the hereafter; and allah knows, and you do not know.
Барои касоне, ки дӯст доранд, дар бораи мӯъминон тӯҳмати зино паҳн шавад, дар дунёву охират азобе дардовар муҳайёст. Худо медонад, ва шумо намедонед!

and those who are lawless – their destination is the fire; whenever they wish to come out of it, they will be returned into it, and it will be said to them, “taste the punishment of the fire you used to deny!”
Ва аммо фосиқон, манзилгоҳашон оташ аст. Ҳар гоҳ ки бихоҳанд аз он берун оянд, бори дигар онҳоро ба даруни оташ бозгардонанд ва бигӯяндашон: «Бичашед азоби оташеро, ки дурӯғаш мепиндоштед!»

indeed, those who disbelieve in allah and his messengers and wish to discriminate between allah and his messengers and say, "we believe in some and disbelieve in others," and wish to adopt a way in between -
Касоне ҳастанд, ки ба Худо ва паёмбаронаш кофир мешаванд ва мехоҳанд миёни Худову паёмбаронаш ҷудоӣ афкананд ва мегӯянд, ки баъзеро мепазирем ва баъзеро намепазирем ва мехоҳанд дар мобайни куфру имон роҳ гиред.

those who believe know that it is the truth from their lord; but those who disbelieve say: what doth allah wish (to teach) by such a similitude?
Онон, ки имон овардаанд, медонанд, ки он мисол дуруст ва аз ҷониби Парвардигори онҳост. Ва аммо кофирон мегӯянд, ки Худо аз ин мисол чи мехостааст?

allah doth wish to turn to you, but the wish of those who follow their lusts is that ye should turn away (from him),- far, far away.
Худо мехоҳад тавбаи шуморо бипазирад. Вале онон, ки аз паи шаҳват мераванд, мехоҳанд, ки шумо ба каҷравии азиме афтед.

and as for those who are fasiqun (disbelievers and disobedient to allah), their abode will be the fire, every time they wish to get away therefrom, they will be put back thereto, and it will be said to them: "taste you the torment of the fire which you used to deny."
Ва аммо фосиқон, манзилгоҳашон оташ аст. Ҳар гоҳ ки бихоҳанд аз он берун оянд, бори дигар онҳоро ба даруни оташ бозгардонанд ва бигӯяндашон: «Бичашед азоби оташеро, ки дурӯғаш мепиндоштед!»

as to those who are rebellious and wicked, their abode will be the fire: every time they wish to get away therefrom, they will be forced thereinto, and it will be said to them: "taste ye the penalty of the fire, the which ye were wont to reject as false."
Ва аммо фосиқон, манзилгоҳашон оташ аст. Ҳар гоҳ ки бихоҳанд аз он берун оянд, бори дигар онҳоро ба даруни оташ бозгардонанд ва бигӯяндашон: «Бичашед азоби оташеро, ки дурӯғаш мепиндоштед!»

say: "if what you wish to be hastened were in my power, all matters between you and me would have been settled; god is cognisant of those who are unjust."
Бигӯ: «Агар он чиро, ки бад-ин шитоб металабед, ба дасти ман буд, миёни ману шумо кор ба поён мерасид, зеро Худо ба ситамкорон донотар аст».

there is no blame on you if ye divorce women before consummation or the fixation of their dower; but bestow on them (a suitable gift), the wealthy according to his means, and the poor according to his means;- a gift of a reasonable amount is due from those who wish to do the right thing.
Агар занонеро, ки бо онхо наздикӣ накардаед ва маҳре барояшон муқаррар надоштаед, талоқ гӯед, гуноҳе накардаед. Вале онҳоро ба чизе баҳраманд созед: тавонгар ба қадри тавонаш ва дарвеш ба қадри тавонаш.

and mothers shall breast-feed their children for two full years – for those who wish to complete the term of milk feeding; and the father of the child must provide for food and clothing of the mother in accordance with custom; no one will be burdened except with what he can bear; a mother should not be harmed because of her child, nor he to whom the child is born be harmed because of his child (or a mother should not harm the child nor he to whom the child is born should harm the child); and the same is incumbent on the guardian in place of the father; then if the parents desire to wean the child by mutual consent and consultation, it is no sin for them; and if you wish to give your children out to a (milk feeding) nurse, it is no sin for you, provided you pay to them what is agreed, with kindness; and keep fearing allah, and know well that allah is seeing what you do.
Ва агар падару модар бихоҳанд, бо ризоят ва машварати якдигар фарзандашонро аз шир бозгиранд, муртакиби гуноҳе нашудаанд. Ва ҳар гоҳ бихоҳед касе дигарро ба шир додани фарзандатон гиред, агар музде некӯ бипардозед, гуноҳе нест.
