எவர் தம் இறைவனின் கட்டளைகளை ஏற்றுக் கொள்கிறார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு (அது) அழகிய நன்மையாகும்; இன்னும் எவர் அவனது கட்டளைகளை ஏற்றுக் கொள்ள வில்லையோ, அவர்களுக்கு பூமியிலுள்ள பொருள்கள் யாவும் சொந்தமாக இருந்து, அத்துடன் அதைப்போன்ற (இன்னொரு) பாகவும் இருந்து (மறுமையின் வேதனையிலிருந்து தப்பித்துக்கொள்ள) அவற்றையெல்லாம் மீட்டுப் பொருளாகக் கொடுத்துவிடவே விரும்புவார்கள்; (ஆனால் இது பலனை அளிக்காது) அவர்களுக்குக் கேள்வி கணக்கு மிகவும் கடினமாக இருக்கும்; அவர்கள் தங்கும் இடம் நரகமேயாகும்; அது மிகவும் கெட்ட புகலிட(மும் ஆகு)ம்.

verily those who have believed and those who have emigrated and have striven hard in the way of allah, all these shall hope for the mercy of allah, and allah is forgiving, merciful.
நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோரும், (காஃபிர்களின் கொடுமைகளால் நாட்டை விட்டு) துறந்தவர்களும், அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் அறப்போர் செய்தோரும் அல்லாஹ்வின் (கருணையை) - ரஹ்மத்தை - நிச்சயமாக எதிர்பார்க்கிறார்கள்;. மேலும், அல்லாஹ் மிகவும் மன்னிப்போனாகவும், பேரன்புடையோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

surely those who believed and those who fled (their home) and strove hard in the way of allah these hope for the mercy of allah and allah is forgiving, merciful.
நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோரும், (காஃபிர்களின் கொடுமைகளால் நாட்டை விட்டு) துறந்தவர்களும், அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் அறப்போர் செய்தோரும் அல்லாஹ்வின் (கருணையை) - ரஹ்மத்தை - நிச்சயமாக எதிர்பார்க்கிறார்கள்;. மேலும், அல்லாஹ் மிகவும் மன்னிப்போனாகவும், பேரன்புடையோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

எவர் அல்லாஹ்வைச் சந்திப்போம் என்று நம்புகிறார்களோ அவர்கள் (அதற்காக நல்ல அமல்களைச் செய்து கொள்ளடடும்) ஏனெனில் அல்லாஹ் (அதற்காகக் குறித்துள்ள) தவணை நிச்சமயாக வருவதாக இருக்கிறது அவன் (யாவற்றையும்) செவியேற்பவனாகவும், நன்கு அறிபவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.
