as often as they try to escape from its anguish they would be put back into (the fire), and taste the torment of burning.
(இந்த) துக்கத்தினால் அவர்கள் அ(ந் நரகத்)தை விட்டு வெளியேற விரும்பும் பேதெல்லாம், அதனுள்ளே திருப்பப்பட்டு, "எரிக்கும் வேதனையைச் சவையுங்கள்" (என்று சொல்லப்படும்).

who, when reminded of the revelations of their lord, do not try to ignore them as though deaf and blind. rather, they try to understand and think about them.
இன்னும் அவர்கள், தங்கள் இறைவனுடைய வசனங்களைக் கொண்டு நினைவூட்டப்பட்டால், செவிடர்களையும், குருடர்களையும் போல் அவற்றின் மீது விழமாட்டார்கள். (சிந்தனையுடன் செவி சாய்ப்பர்கள்.)

எதைக் கொண்டு நன்மாராயங் கூறப்பட்டானோ, (அதைத் தீயதாகக் கருதி) அந்தக் கெடுதிக்காக(த் தம்) சமூகத்தாரை விட்டும் ஒளிந்து கொள்கிறான் - அதை இழிவோடு வைத்துக் கொள்வதா? அல்லது அதை (உயிரோடு) மண்ணில் புதைத்து விடுவதா? (என்று குழம்புகிறான்) அவர்கள் (இவ்வாறெல்லாம்) தீர்மானிப்பது மிகவும் கெட்டதல்லவா?

if they try to deceive you, remember they have deceived god before. so he gave you mastery over them, for god is all-knowing and all-wise.
(நபியே!) அவர்கள் உமக்கு மோசம் செய்ய நாடினால் (கவலைப்படாதீர்); இதற்கு முன்னர் அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே மோசம் செய்யக் கருதினார்கள்; (ஆதலால் தான் அவர்களைச் சிறை பிடிக்க) அவர்கள் மீது உமக்கு சக்தியை அவன் அளித்தான். அல்லாஹ் (எல்லாம்) அறிபவனாகவும், ஞானமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

(இந்த) துக்கத்தினால் அவர்கள் அ(ந் நரகத்)தை விட்டு வெளியேற விரும்பும் பேதெல்லாம், அதனுள்ளே திருப்பப்பட்டு, "எரிக்கும் வேதனையைச் சவையுங்கள்" (என்று சொல்லப்படும்).

we have enjoined on man to be good to his parents; but if they try to make you associate with me that of which you have no knowledge, then do not obey them. you have to come back to us, when i will tell you what you used to do.
தன் தாய் தந்தையருக்கு நன்மை செய்யும்படியாக நாம் மனிதனுக்கு வஸிய்யத்து செய்திருக்கிறோம்; எனினும், (மனிதனே!) உனக்கு அறிவு இல்லாத ஒன்றை எனக்கு இணையாக்கும்படி அவ்விருவரும் உன்னை வற்புறுத்தினால், நீ அவ்விருவருக்கும் கீழ்படிய வேண்டாம்; என்னிடமே உங்கள் அனைவரின் மீளுதலும் இருக்கிறது நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவை பற்றி அப்போது நான் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பேன்.

ஆனால், நீ எது பற்றி அறிவு (ஆதாரம்) பெற்றவனாக இல்லையோ அதனை எனக்கு இணை வைக்குமாறு உன்னை அவ்விருவரும் வற்புறுத்தினால் அப்போது நீ அவ்விருவருக்கும் வழிபட வேணடாம்; ஆனால் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையில் அவ்விருவருடனும் அழகிய முறையில் உறவு வைத்துக் கொள்; (யாவற்றிலும்) என்னையே நோக்கி நிற்போரின் வழியையே நீ பின்பற்றுவாயாக - பின்னர் உங்கள் (அனைவருடைய) மீளுதலும் என்னிடமேயாகும்; நீங்கள் என்ன செய்து கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள் என்பதை (அப்போது) நான் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பேன்."

however, the dwelling of the sinful ones will be hell fire. each time they try to come out, they will be turned back with this remark, "suffer the torment of the fire which you had called a lie".
