"தம் இறைவனிடமிருந்து ஓர் அத்தாட்சியை ஏன் அவர் நம்மிடம் கொண்டு வரவில்லை?" என்று (நிராகரிப்போர்) கேட்கின்றனர்; முந்தைய வேதங்களில் உள்ள தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகள் அவர்களுக்கு வரவில்லையா?

have you not considered the free movements of the birds high in the sky above? what keeps them aloft except god? in this there is evidence (of the truth) for the believing people.
வான(மண்டல)த்தின் (காற்று) வெளியில் (இறை கட்டளைக்குக்) கட்டுப்பட்டு பறக்கும் பறவைகளை இவர்கள் பார்க்கவில்லையா? அவற்றை (ஆகாயத்தில்) தாங்கி நிற்பவன் அல்லாஹ்வைத் தவிர வேறு எவருமில்லை நிச்சயமாக இதில் ஈமான் கொண்ட மக்களுக்கு(த் தக்க) அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

his companion replied, in the course of their discussion, "do you deny him who created you from dust, from a small drop of fluid, then formed you into a man?
அவனுடைய தோழன் அவனுடன் (இது பற்றித்) தர்க்கித்தவனாக "உன்னை மண்ணிலிருந்தும், பின் ஒரு துளி இந்திரியத்திலிருந்தும் படைத்து, பின்பு உன்னைச் சரியான மனிதனாக ஆக்கினானே அவனையா நீ நிராகரிக்கின்றாய்?" என்று அவனிடம் கேட்டான்.

have you not seen that the ships sail in the ocean through the bounty of god so that he may show you the evidence (of his existence). there is evidence (of the truth) in this for every forbearing and grateful one.
தன்னுடைய அத்தாட்சிகளை உங்களுக்குக் காண்பிப்பதற்காக வேண்டி, அல்லாஹ்வுடைய அருள் கொடையைக் கொண்டு நிச்சமயாகக் கப்பல் கடலில் (மிதந்து) செல்வதை நீர் காணவில்லையா? நிச்சயமாக இதில் பொறுமை மிக்க - நன்றியறிதலுடைய ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.
