ukuvile uyehova ukutarhuzisa kwam; uyehova umthandazo wam uyawamkela.
the lord hath heard my supplication; the lord will receive my prayer.

wathi kubo, utsho uyehova, uthixo kasirayeli, enindithumele kuye, ukuba ndiwise ukutarhuzisa kwenu phambi kwakhe, ukuthi,
and said unto them, thus saith the lord, the god of israel, unto whom ye sent me to present your supplication before him;

wathandaza kuye, wathandazeka yena nguye, wakuva ukutarhuzisa kwakhe, wambuyisela eyerusalem ebukumkanini bakhe. wazi ke umanase ukuba uyehova nguye onguthixo.
and prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to jerusalem into his kingdom. then manasseh knew that the lord he was god.

kaloku ke khawuphulaphule, nkosi yam kumkani, makuwe phambi kwakho ukutarhuzisa kwam; musa ukundibuyisela endlwini kayonatan umbhali, hleze ndifele khona.
therefore hear now, i pray thee, o my lord the king: let my supplication, i pray thee, be accepted before thee; that thou cause me not to return to the house of jonathan the scribe, lest i die there.

phulaphula ukutarhuzisa komkhonzi wakho, nabantu bakho amasirayeli, abaya kuthandaza ngako kule ndawo; uve ke wena endaweni ohlala kuyo emazulwini, uve ke, uxolele.
hearken therefore unto the supplications of thy servant, and of thy people israel, which they shall make toward this place: hear thou from thy dwelling place, even from heaven; and when thou hearest, forgive.

bathi kuyeremiya umprofeti, ukutarhuzisa kwethu makhe kuwe phambi kwakho, usithandazele kuyehova uthixo wakho, uthandazele la masalela onke; ngokuba sisele sambalwa, besibaninzi, njengoko asibonayo amehlo akho;
and said unto jeremiah the prophet, let, we beseech thee, our supplication be accepted before thee, and pray for us unto the lord thy god, even for all this remnant; (for we are left but a few of many, as thine eyes do behold us:)
