satan has got the better of them and has caused them to forget the remembrance of god . they have gone over to the side of the devil , and it is as the devil 's partisans that they shall be the losers :
በእነርሱ ላይ ሰይጣን ተሾመባቸው ፡ ፡ አላህንም ማስታወስን አስረሳቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚያ የሰይጣን ጭፍሮች ናቸው ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! የሰይጣን ጭፍሮች ከሳሪዎቹ እነርሱ ናቸው ፡ ፡

nor were you by the side of the mount when we proclaimed . rather , it was a mercy from your lord , that you may warn people who received no warner before you , so that they may take heed .
በጠራነውም ጊዜ በጡር ጎን አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ግን ከአንተ በፊት ምንም አስፈራሪ ያልመጣቸውን ሕዝቦች ታስፈራራ ዘንድ ከጌታህ በኾነ ችሮታ ( ላክንህ ) ሊገሰጹ ይከጀላልና ፡ ፡

you were not present on the side of the tor when we called . yet as a mercy from your lord to warn a nation to whom no warner has been sent before , in order that they remember
በጠራነውም ጊዜ በጡር ጎን አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ግን ከአንተ በፊት ምንም አስፈራሪ ያልመጣቸውን ሕዝቦች ታስፈራራ ዘንድ ከጌታህ በኾነ ችሮታ ( ላክንህ ) ሊገሰጹ ይከጀላልና ፡ ፡

allah enlargeth the provision for whomsoever he willeth and , stinteth . and they exult in the life of the world , whereas the life of the world , by the side of the hereafter , is only a passing enjoyment .
አላህ ለሚሻው ሰው ሲሳይን ያሰፋል ፤ ያጠባልም ፡ ፡ ( ከሓዲዎች ) በቅርቢቱም ሕይወት ተደሰቱ ፡ ፡ የቅርቢቱም ሕይወት በመጨረሻይቱ አንጻር ( ትንሽ ) መጠቀሚያ እንጂ ምንም አይደለችም ፡ ፡

and we called him from the side of the mount at [ his ] right and brought him near , confiding [ to him ] .
ከጡር ቀኝ ጎን በኩልም ጠራነው ፡ ፡ ያነጋገርነውም ሲኾን አቀረብነው ፡ ፡

thou wast not upon the side of the mount when we called ; but for a mercy from thy lord , that thou mayest warn a people to whom no warner came before thee , and that haply they may remember .
በጠራነውም ጊዜ በጡር ጎን አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ግን ከአንተ በፊት ምንም አስፈራሪ ያልመጣቸውን ሕዝቦች ታስፈራራ ዘንድ ከጌታህ በኾነ ችሮታ ( ላክንህ ) ሊገሰጹ ይከጀላልና ፡ ፡

you were not on the side of the mount when we called out to moses , but we have sent you as a mercy from your lord , so that you may warn people to whom no warner has been sent before you , so that they may take heed ,
በጠራነውም ጊዜ በጡር ጎን አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ግን ከአንተ በፊት ምንም አስፈራሪ ያልመጣቸውን ሕዝቦች ታስፈራራ ዘንድ ከጌታህ በኾነ ችሮታ ( ላክንህ ) ሊገሰጹ ይከጀላልና ፡ ፡

many a seeker after god has fought in the way of god by the side of many an apostle , undaunted ( by disaster ) , and did not disgrace themselves ; -- verily god loves those who are steadfast .
ከነቢይም ብዙ ሊቃውንት ከርሱ ጋር ኾነው የተዋጉ ብዙ ናቸው ፡ ፡ በአላህም መንገድ ለሚደርስባቸው ነገር አልፈሩም ፤ አልደከሙምም ፡ ፡ ( ለጠላት ) አልተዋረዱምም ፡ ፡ አላህም ትዕግስተኞችን ይወዳል ፡ ፡

and if an entry had been effected to them from the sides of the ( city ) , and they had been incited to sedition , they would certainly have brought it to pass , with none but a brief delay !
በእነርሱም ላይ ( ቤቶቻቸው ) ከየቀበሌዋ በተገባባት ከዚያም ከኢስላም መመለስን በተጠየቁ ኖሮ በሠሯት ነበር ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ጥቂትን ጊዜ እንጂ አይቆዩም ነበር ፡ ፡
