at that time shall it be said to this people and to jerusalem, a dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse,
ထိုကာလ၌ ဤလူများနှင့် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သား တို့ကို ရည်မှတ်၍ ဆိုရမည်ကား၊ ပူသောလေသည် တော၌မြင့်သောအရပ်က ငါ၏လူမျိုး သတို့သမီးထံသို့ လာလိမ့်မည်။ အမှော်လွင့်စေခြင်း၊ သန့်ရှင်းစေခြင်းငှါ လာသော လေမဟုတ်။

for he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
ထိုသူသည် လွင်ပြင်၌ရှိသော သစ်ပင်ခြောက် ကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ကောင်းကျိုးရောက်ကြောင်းကို မသိရ။ အဘယ်သူမျှမနေသော ဆားမြေ၊ သွေ့ခြောက်သော လွင်ပြင်၌ နေရလိမ့်မည်။

and he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of judah, and in the places round about jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.
ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ပတ်လည် အစရှိသော ယုဒမြို့ ရွာ၌ မြင့်သော အရပ်တို့အပေါ်မှာ နံ့သာပေါင်းကို မီးရှို့ စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ယုဒရှင်ဘုရင် ခန့်ထားသော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် တို့ကို၎င်း၊ ဗာလဘုရား၊ နေလရာသီစောင့် အစရှိသော မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်တန်ဆာတို့အား နံ့သာပေါင်းကို မီးရှို့ သော သူတို့ကို၎င်း၊ သုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်းတော်မူ၏။
