and the lord said, like as my servant isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon egypt and upon ethiopia;

and isaiah the prophet cried unto the lord: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of ahaz.

and hezekiah said unto isaiah, what shall be the sign that the lord will heal me, and that i shall go up into the house of the lord the third day?

and he sent eliakim, who was over the household, and shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests covered with sackcloth, unto isaiah the prophet the son of amoz.
wathuma ueliyakim umphathi wendlu, noshebhena umbhali, namadoda amakhulu ababingeleli, bezigqume ngezirhwexayo, kuisaya umprofeti, unyana ka-amotsi.

the vision of isaiah the son of amoz, which he saw concerning judah and jerusalem in the days of uzziah, jotham, ahaz, and hezekiah, kings of judah.

wathuma ueliyakim umphathi wendlu, noshebhena umbhali, namadoda amakhulu ababingeleli, ezigubungele ngezirhwexayo, kuisaya umprofeti, unyana ka-amotse.

and isaiah said, this sign shalt thou have of the lord, that the lord will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forth ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
wathi uisaya, nangu ke umqondiso kuwe, uphuma kuyehova, wokuba uya kulenza uyehova ilizwi alithethileyo: isithunzi sihambe na izinyuko ezilishumi, sibuye na izinyuko ezilishumi?
