அவ்வூராரிடமிருந்தவற்றில் அல்லாஹ் தன் தூதருக்கு (மீட்டுக்) கொடுத்தவை, அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் (அவன்) தூதருக்கும், உறவினர்களுக்கும், அநாதைகளுக்கும், ஏழைகளுக்கும், வழிப்போக்கருக்குமாகும், மேலும், உங்களிலுள்ள செல்வந்தர்களுக்குள்ளேயே (செல்வம்) சுற்றிக் கொண்டிருக்காமல் இருப்பதற்காக (இவ்வாறு பங்கிட்டுக் கொடுக்கக் கட்டளையிடப் பட்டுள்ளது) மேலும், (நம்) தூதர் உங்களுக்கு எதைக் கொடுக்கின்றாரோ அதை எடுத்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள், இன்னும், எதை விட்டும் உங்களை விலக்குகின்றாரோ அதை விட்டும் விலகிக் கொள்ளுங்கள், மேலும், அல்லாஹ்வை அஞ்சிக் கொள்ளுங்கள். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் வேதனை செய்வதில் மிகக் கடினமானவன்.

as for those who refrain from committing grave sins and indecent acts, though they may commit minor offences, your lord is unstinting in his forgiveness. he knows you when he brings you out of the earth, and when you were embryos in the wombs of your mothers; so do not make claims to be pure. he knows best who is truly righteous.
(நன்மை செய்வோர் யார் எனின்) எவர்கள் (அறியாமல் ஏற்பட்டுவிடும்) சிறு பிழைகளைத் தவிர பெரும் பாவங்களையும் மானக்கேடானவற்றையும் தவிர்த்துக் கொள்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள், நிச்சயமாக உம்முடைய இறைவன் மன்னிப்பதில் தாராளமானவன், அவன் உங்களைப் பூமியிலிருந்து உண்டாக்கிய போது, நீங்கள் உங்கள் அன்னையரின் வயிறுகளில் சிசுக்களாக இருந்த போதும், உங்களை நன்கு அறிந்தவன் - எனவே, நீங்களே உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தவான்கள் என்று புகழ்ந்து கொள்ளாதீர்கள் - யார் பயபக்தியுள்ளவர் என்பதை அவன் நன்கறிவான்.
